Loot will despawn if you spawn next to it. This prevents people from sitting at the barracks and server hopping all day. You have to run a good distance away from the area and wait (not sure how long) before it'll spawn.

I made a rant post earlier that someone criticized as belonging in the suggestion forum, so I've rewrote it. I'd like some input and bumps, and maybe the opinion of Rocket himself. Helicopter crash sites - There's generic loot, and then there's good loot. There's only a few places worth looting as an end game, which causes players to ignore exploration in favor of making a straight line to those areas. The only good loot to be found in this game through exploration is crash sites, but anyone knows they're pointless to look for on a server that hasn't been rebooted lately. Suggested change: Crash sites should spawn and despawn (when looted) continuously at a very slow place. This will encourage exploration as well as discourage server abuse (constant restarts). Vehicles - They're a little bit too rare, which encourages hording and stashing. We need more vehicles rolling through major cities, causing havoc and getting blown up. We also need less 40 minute jogs. Suggested change: Increase the amount of vehicles on the map and add random spawns, further increasing exploration gain. Night - Servers empty out the moment night hits and/or players are forced to increase their brightness and gamma settings. Suggested change: Slightly increase the visibility during night time and increase the spawn rate and spawn locations of night vision goggles. Bandits - This is a hard one, and I know Rocket has a "do what you want with only moral consequences" type of game in mind, but the game has devolved into mindless deathmatch. The reason for this is because there's too many upsides to being a bandit and nothing but downsides to being a helpful survivor. There's also a large lack of communication, which only encourages the shoot first/ask later response. Suggested change: Add some type of bounty to murderers (I realize there's a lot of shades of grey here and it wouldn't be an easy thing to implement). Increase the text and voice communication distance. Warn players on server join if they have voice chat disabled. Readd the ability to enable global chat on a server.

Hey, I'm having the same issue, except it's a lot worse than yours (but very clearly the same issue). What video card are you using? I've tried pretty much everything, along with enabling/disabling every video option. I noticed also that it only happens while constant changes in weather/daytime to nighttime (and likeweise) transition is occurring. Still haven't found a fix, let me know if you do. Edit: Think I found a fix, haven't tested it for too long though. Not true from what I've experienced. The entire point of the save function is to save the current location and conditions of the vehicle should a restart occur. I've also tested this myself and it works, although I've heard it can be buggy.

Ever kill someone and feel sorry for them? My moment would be when I was camping Elektro on the hills with an AS50. Yeah, I know that's lame, but it was my first time finding a sniper and my friends kept getting gunned down in the city, so me and a pal with a rangefinder set up on the hills. We were there for a few hours and I had a ridiculous amount of murders and bandit kills, then this happened: A dude running around the firehouse with a hatchet. He was climbing up and down ladders and hitting the wall with his hatchet. He looked so confused and ran around in circles. I told my friends not to kill him and we laughed at him for a bit, but then my friend bursted his LMG at him (from 600 meters away...) and broke his leg. He crawled around a bit and I decided to put him out of his misery with an AS50 round to the face. Hatchet dude on the firehouse building, I'm sorry. ;_;

Being out of breath, in pain, low on blood, cold (?) and horny are all known causes of shaking.

Edit: Horrible experience with this clan. Detta is never on and has a serious ego complex and misplaced sense of importance. There's little to no functioning organization and duping, harassment, racism, spamming and even stalking (seriously) is ignored by the "leader" unless you personally offend him. The few cool people remaining aren't on much anymore. Seriously, just stay away.

Just got the game last night. I know the basics, but I want a pal. So, anyone also new or even a more experienced player who wants an apprentice in survivordom, send me a message! I'm on the West Coast, but I don't mind playing on higher ping servers as long as it's not 200+. I have a mic if it matters. (Warning: it takes me a few tries at different servers to find one that doesn't say Connection Failed for no apparent reason)
