Must read the whole post in order to understand the full story... This is not a joke. Read carefully... This is a TRUE story. After a long day of playing DayZ, my friend and I we're browsing the DayZ forums, as I came across a post about The Curse of Green Mountain. I quickly linked this forum page to my friend, Sire, and he immediately started reading about The Curse. Sire decided he wanted to go see if The Curse is really true. It was 3:30 A.M. where I live so i decided to log of, but Sire wanted to have a look for himself. He tried begging me to come with him, because he wanted company. I quickly refused and told him it would be more fun if he was by himself. He then joined a server with ONLY himself in the game. It was a night server so he had to bring Night Vision Goggles with him, and he brought some gear to defend himself. As he was running through to forest, he started hearing loud banging noises in-game. He claims this was NOT a gun noise, instead it sounded more like a banging door. As he neared Green Mountain he began to become paranoid. I told him to run behind the tower, hoping the body pile would freak him out. He saw the body pile and quickly laughed at me. He checked out the rest of the area and found nothing to his standards. Then, he decided to climb to the top of the tower. He climbed the first ladder, and saw nothing. Once he went onto the balcony on the first floor of the tower, he also saw nothing. He wanted to head back because he started to get tired, but he wanted one last look onto the distant forest, he then saw something he wasn't to fond of. As he stood staring at the forest, he saw a fast moving Ghille'd figure sprint from the tree-line to the entrance of the tower, wielding an axe. Sire then quickly sprinted to the ladder and readied his M4. As the figure stuck his head up the ladder, Sire quickly sprayed directly into his dome. He watched the lifeless body fall down the ladder, as no death message appeared. Sire then heard fly's, and wanted to loot his well deserved kill. As he climbed down the ladder the fly noises got louder. As Sire got to the bottom he was searching for the dead body, but he could not find this mysterious figure's body. Sire then walked a few meter's away from the ladder, and instantly his legs broke. Sire then looked for his Morphine, which disappeared from his inventory. Sire then heard footsteps. He turned towards the ladder, and saw the Ghille'd figure stand up from the ground. He then readied his handy-axe. Then over direct-communications the figure with no name says, "Shouldn't have came." and hacked Sire in one final blow to the head. This is not a joke. Beware of Green Mountain. You have been warned...

I have access to an AS50 or a DMR, but I don't like how loud the AS50 is, and I wish the DMR was zero-able.

Ok, so here's what I want to know. Taking all things into consideration, (not just damage output) what's the best sniper rifle for teamplay?
