Ok, just to clear a few things up. I see that a few people are misunderstanding this so let so let me drop some enlightenment on you. What he means by this, is that our application process is locked until we finish reviewing our current applicants who are in trial runs. When someone applies we don't just accept them based on their application, that is only part of the process thus the backlog of apps. The way our application process worked: 1. You post your app. 2. We read your app. 3. Depending on how we liked your app and if you met the few requirements, we may/may not invite you to a trial run. 4. If we like you during the trial run, we may/may not invite you into =HA=. Now, the reason the application section on our forums is locked is because we are changing how we are going to be reviewing/accepting our applicants. As of now I don't know exactly how that will work or how much different it will be from our current method. Once we are finished with the people who are now in the process of being reviewed/trialed we will unlock the forums and applications will be open to the public once more. If you're interested in becoming =HA=, I personally look forward to seeing you in the mumble and wish you luck on your application process.

If I have a sniper i'm normally providing cover for a ground team or watching for targets as I move from location to location. If I have anything BUT a sniper, i'm running around any town like a chicken with it's head cut off. As for Bush/Urban sniping, the only time i'll sit in a bush that's NOT overlooking a high traffic area(City/NW/NE) is when i'm observing a crashed helicopter that's outside/in a high traffic area. For how long I spend in any area depends on how many targets appear and how long my team is in there cycling/gathering. Usually if it's a slow night, we'll spend about 30 minutes an hour observing, if we only get around 1-2 we'll move or hop servers. Normally during the observation time i'll be listening to music while texting someone. Of course taking time to glance for targets every 10-20 seconds. As a side note, when i'm not texting, I look like my avatar. In real life i'm, and as you guessed it, 19 in a low workload school environment and unemployed as i'm going to Fire Academy in August. I just tried to see if there was a problem and this is what I found. You can't change both at the same time, as you stated above. If you changing your password, make sure EVERYTHING in the email field is blank. Chrome kept auto-filling my username and screwing with things that made it unable for me to change it.Just copy/paste the password that was emailed to you in the "Current Field" and enter you new password below that then confirm it. It worked for me so if you still can't get it just double check and post back here. If I see the post i'll try to figure it out. Also, they are using http://en.gravatar.com/ for the person who asked.

In my opinion... Since canteens have a resealable cap, they should be able to hold 2 doses instead of one. This would mean they would be far more valuable as an item and thus could use a lower spawn rate. Pros: More realistic Saves inventory Provides a higher use for water sources(refilling) More satisfaction when picking one up Cons: Regular sodas become less valuable(MDew Excluded) Could be problematic to implement? Could refill itself upon logging out/in thus providing an unlimited water source Just a thought...

Have you tried double clicking you RMB? It happens to me sometimes to but always sorts itself out with a bit of button spam.

You can not use the Hunting Knife as a weapon. The only melee weapons in the game at the moment are the Hatchet/Crowbar. On a side note, I've never seen a Crowbar in game, but it was in the patch notes.

No, keep those and just install the Beta Patch. Edit: If you're downloading new Dayz code files, then delete your old ones and add the new ones. If your installing the beta, leave your Dayz code files alone and just run the exe.

Just fishing for a bit more information. Have you started both Arma II and Arma: Op Arrow indevidualy before running as Combined Operations? Also when exactly are you getting the error when you launch through steam. As for Six Launcher, I've never used it for Dayz, so I don't know what to do there.

This happens when your running the most recent update on a server with the previous update. There should be a faint text on your screen if this is happening from what I've heard..

Well, this would be impossible without specific machinery. Unless you found a drilling rig mounted on the back of a truck, the only other legitimate way of making a well would be to dig. If you tried to dig the well, you would need a shovel. To dig a well with a shovel, you would need a digging animation(or something like that) that would last at LEAST 30 minutes to be remotely realistic... Besides, there are plenty of AMAZING campsites near, or at least reasonably close to a water source that are out there. ;] ...Or you could make a 5 minute run to a town and grab a few sodas.

All I know is that i'd rather run down the NW tarmac, holding a flare, yelling "friendly?" then fire that thing in a city by myself. ...but ya, i'd ballpark it at about 70-85m
