1 other important thing: You have to reload your hatchet and Crowbar once. And the Crowbar sucks. But Hatchet is a really good anti zombie weapon.

VAC doesn't ban ppl for nothing, and it bans many of the hackers, thats true. But you can easily play even with a VAC Ban... A friend of mine once used godmode in MW3, got VAC ban, some hacker (real hacker, not just scripter, but also codes cheats) we know over the internet (long story), that also gave him the godmode gave him some kind of VAC unbanner... 10 mins later he had no VAC ban on his acc anymore, and now he can play normal again. So tell me how this is better?

I think they should. If they spawn stuff on their own server and kill ppl with it, it's their thing, and there wont be any players on it very soon. If they spawn stuff on a public hive server and kill ppl with it, it affects their characters on other servers, and not only on theirs -> not ok.

If you could somehow get an M4A1 Holo, I would trade my L85AWS for it + a SAW.

If you go on a Server with 10-20 ppl the risk of getting sniped isnt that high. If you just rush for the Firestation/Supermarket/School and get what you find, then head to the inlands, imo its kinda safe. Also I disagree with 15, 5 Mags to 1 Mag ok, but if you have 5 Mags and find a better Weapon with 3 Mags, I'd take the better one. Especially if Mags arent that rare, like Stanags.

Date/Time:10.09.12 [DD.MM.YY] What happened: Me and a Friend managed to fix a bus in Cherno, we drove it for a while, refueled once, then I crashed into something on the road and my windscreen was broken. As there were zombies everywhere, I continued driving for a while, and when I got out of the City, I asked my Friend to repair the Bus as we had Windscreen Glass. However, when we got out, he told me he couldn't repair the Bus. I then was getting back in just to see if it still was shown as Broken, but WHL was green now (yellow before) and the Windscreen was fully repaired. We then Continued driving, lost a Wheel. We got out to search a wheel, when my friend said "Why we need a wheel? The bus doesn't lack one". So I came back and the wheel that has been missing 10 seconds ago was there again, when I got in also everything was green. Incidents like this happened 2 or 3 more times on our way, everytime we got out and back in the Bus was fully repaired. Fuel did never refill, though. Where you were: Multiple locations. From Cherno along the east coast to Stary. hm,for me it works perfectly, all this happens with mouseclicks. no manual phpBB. It neither clears out my text, nor I have to toggle editing mode for activating the buttons. When I initally enter the anwer page, I already am able to click the buttons. If I toggle they grey out. If i write then, and toggle back, my text still exists.

You may install it on multiple Computers. However, only if those computers are used by the same Person. And that seems not to be the case here. But you always could just install it on other computers without thinking about if you are allowed to...

If its possible to pick me up, I'm currently waiting at the east of Elektro, near the stop thats west to the Drakon stop. Would really appreciate if you could take me to cherno, only gear I found in Elektro was some food, an empty AK and a frag nade, and I don't wanna run all the way. Oh, and an unnecessary 200 rnd Belt, if u need that u can have it. But would have to be fast as my PC likes overheating and seems like its short before. So if I'm not there, dont wait for me. And don't make huge ways just for picking me up, as I might not be there because of this. Only if it lies on your way.

Actually, getting hit in the toe and instantly dieing is beyond stupid. IRL then you probably have one foot less, but you're still alive, though deadly injured. For balancing reasons for Snipers I would prefer 1shot to the body, broken Legs + unconcious + bleeding + down to like 4k blood if Limbs hit. That way a friend could still help you - if he doesnt get sniped for himself of course. And the noise... Well, supersonic bullets make a lot of noise. So yeah, louder.

ok, I'd should have specified that. I'm talking about that real cqb situations, with the distance of maximum one time across the lowest floor of a fire station. At further distances ppl mostly dont even notice me, I then just either keep Aiming at them if they are going roughly in my direction, or go away from them. But if I'm 2 m from somebody, and hes armed and has a weapon, then he looks up and towards me after I ask friendly, I don't think he wont shoot me, as he could just have answered first. Am from germany too, btw.

I only encountered I think 5 players I didn't know so far. 1st one was in my first live - I came out a building and just got shot, headshot, instadeath. 2nd one were rather 2 guys, I came across them with a friend and they opened fire. I managed to kill one of them, but the other guy hid in the woods and killed my friend, made me go unconscious, i paniced and alt f4d, still feel bad about it, that guy had deserved my loot. 3rd one were multiple guys, I still was with that friend, though in an other life, and meeting up with a 3rd guy. That guy was killed by them, he only had a hatchet... I then tried to avenge him, but its kinda hard to hit someone with an AK74s that is riding on a bike, and I didn't see the other guys. So we decided to change servers so we wouldn't also die. The 4th one was in one of Elektros Firestations... I ran up the stairs, and up in the tower there was one guy looting the place. I think he started to ask me over Voice chat if I'm friendly, but I just paniced before I registered his voice and started shooting. I won the firefight, with him having a lee enfield and me an AK. The 5th one was an unarmed player at the coast. I saw him running, asked him if he was friendly, he didn't react and just kept running. I've let him be. I pretty much want to avoid unnecessary kills, and thus mostly ask friendly first, but if that guy is armed and looking at me, and doesn't respond, I'll shoot.

Give Bloodbags to ppl. Though it will be kinda hard to find someone that trusts you...(best if you know someone IRL) and that you can trust so he doesnt kill you. And, dunno, but I think if you respawn it also resets.

or just give them a crowbar. I mean, srsly, theres no reason to pick up one, as hatchets are more common (at least from my experiences), and are way better. And then you had a way to at least defend against 1 Zombie, though probably at rather high blood loss. Or just take it as it is, run into cherno or elektro, and rush the supermarket/school/Fire Station(s). You have nothing to lose when you start.

Had this a few times, but not always, and it always was gone after 1 or 2 Game restarts (same server). I was like 3 Times in Balota and 1 Time in Stary, had low issues in Stary and 1 time bigger issues at Balota... And my Graphic Settings are on low, seems to help. Also removes that damn blurring when turning around. (yeah, intended to be realistic but in reality you rapidly switch your eyes position and your eyes aren't fixed to a certain point in your head)

I also thought about this multiple times, and I don't really see the unrealism. If you had a 27 round and a 24 round mag, and then decided you'd be more happy with a 30 round and a 21 round mag, you just had to click that in inventory. But it would need a kinda long action animation based on the amount of Bullets you want to transfer, maybe 1-2 sec per bullet. So if you are chased by zombies and have your makarov with 2 full mags, and shoot 5 bullets into the zombies, then decide to reload, then shoot another 3 bullets, you still wouldn't have 8 rounds in your mag after reloading, but if then all zombies are dead, you could spend some seconds and combine the mags.

Idea sounds good to me, but for the case if you change your mind after some time: maybe add an option/chat command that sets a 10 minute limit after that you may shoot each other again, with the other guy being notified. That way you could still go away from each other and in a random encounter 15 minutes later maybe one of you would die. And you still couldnt betray. If someone chases you after that, you just could change servers.

yeah, also have had this. Not since .4 though.

the starting pistol got removed in a recent patch. You can commonly find shotguns in Barns, and if you look around a bit you will find pistols in houses. In the Fire stations there are AKs & co. I'd also recommend you search for a server where its day time, so it's not so hard to see things. EDIT: too slow D:

sounds like debug plains to me. respawn or ask an admin for tp out.

cod has brought ppl to actually think akimbo weapons would be realistic, made them think one could reload a Barret Sniper Rifle that weighs 20+kg while holding it with one hand up in the air and still walk while that, has made them think bullets weren't affected by gravity. And i'm pretty sure the majority of dayZ players has either played no FPS at all, or only CoD. And then they are like "WTF my AK 74 has so much recoil and doesnt shoot exactly where I aim omfg has to be bug ok I'll keep pulling the trigger as that recoil has to be a graphics bug and this is a military simulator I come from CoD I know whats realistic - OMFG why I'm unconscious one always survives one headshot from non snipers without problems! Ah, this game is so unrealistic! *ragequit*"

u guys need antibiotics? I got some, and don't really need them. If I would (and don't have) I think I would ask here anyway. So if you need some, I would be willing to meet up with one of yours (only have 1, but well they're rare).

actually I've never hitten anything with my axe. until I actually started to ADS with it (though it lacks the sights^^). But then it's a kinda decent weapon, maximum 1 hit to receive from a zed if you're unlucky. BTT: well, I've not had so much weapons till now, but my M16A2 I got atm seems kinda decent to me, combinated with either Revolver or M1911 as secondary. Think I would like some sniper rifle also though, but never have found one yet.
