I'm going to have to wait until he's back at his house to give you those numbers.

Just a reminder: Video options don't make a difference (I'm not sure if my friend tried to disable Vsync so that might still be an option) I'm not sure about all of his specs. I know he has 8 gigs of RAM, and has a Radeon 5550 or 5570.
  4. Hey there! My friend has been trying to play Day z, and when he first logged in, he noticed that his game was having these weird FPS issues. Now I'm not talking about a constant, say, 20 FPS, because that would obviously have something to do with video settings. His problem is that he'll be getting good FPS until he moves or turns, then it will tank for about 4 seconds then go back to normal, and keep repeating like that. The odd part is that this never changed when he lowered his video settings from maximum to minimum. I can run ArmA perfectly with near max settings and have no problems at all. And my computer isn't THAT much better than his. So does anyone know what exactly is causing this? Is it poor optimization? Is it just the nature of alpha mods, or what?
