2 different steam accounts using same internet, 1 getting kicked.

Me and my partner currently both have Dayz setup properly and can join and play separate servers fine. But if one of us tries to join the other in the same server it simply kicks the later person. I presume it thinks we are doing something bad but obviously we are not. Is there some kind of work around or fix?
