While that is true, I often feel compelled to say something in a relatively objective manner. If one person reads this and goes "oh, well I guess so.." I'll feel like its been worth it. ^^ I was actually trying to do something other than work on this 3d model of a VZ58 (which, would look great in the game DEAN, look you don't even have to pay an artist!)

Personally I'd rather see makeshift combat vehicles; not necessarily a rusted up junker put together by a steampunk enthusiast with an art degree, but like a pickup with some heavy plates on the doors. Or a sedan with a hole cut in the top that you can stand and shoot from. Or even just the ability to burn through Elektro in a Yugo and have your buddy fire out the passenger window with his .45 at a rival pickup doing the same.

Well yes you did, but you don't have the game yet. The game isn't done and therefor you don't HAVE the game. What you have right now is the alpha testing build of the game. You can't judge the released version (the $30 game you paid for) until its out. The alpha testing period is about getting that finished product you paid $30 for as good as possible, meaning voicing your opinions on things like night time. If you can't handle that I'd advise staying away from early access in the future. Its not rocket (HEUGH) science.

VZ 58 as well. Ex-Soviet and very popular with civilians because its a tighter, more accurate version of the AK and is available in places you can't get AKs (like here in Canada.)

The character I got rolled back to had a fairly kitted out M4. I'm even more afraid for my life now!

Every time I join hardcore, even if I've played on it, my character resets. Shame because I love first person only, but I can wait. In the meantime, I got rolled back to my righteous hero character that was "ARMA'd" several days ago, so that's pretty cool!

No its not, the new patch is 114557 in the Stable branch. Steam doesn't always work perfectly, and sometimes it needs a kick in the ass like verifying your cache files.

Don't get upset if patches don't work all the time, that's the point; they're supposed to break now so the devs can fix them and have a stable release version! :D Like they said, verify your cache, make sure auto updates and all that are on, and restart Steam.

There was a new patch. Right click on the game and go to properties, click the updates tab, and make sure your Automatic Updates are set to "Always Keep this Game up to Date". Click the Local Files tab and try verifying the integrity of the game cache. Lastly restart Steam and hopefully, if it hasn't already, it will start updating your game. Edit: No DON'T do this, unless you want to play the experimental test patches (which you don't need to to get the servers to work.)

I got reset when rejoining the same server, just gotta wait till the hive issues get worked out I suppose. On a side note I joined a Regular server and spawned with a character that was killed weeks ago. ^^

I hope they keep up the unannounced surprise items. Its fun to find something new in a game like this.

Stripper clips only make it easier to load ammo, they don't change the capacity. Loading manually just means you have to click every one into the internal magazine by hand. Sounds like they are trying to implement loading round by round and its just broken ATM. Makes no sense otherwise.

So your title says that you like third person servers. Then the first half of your post shows the opposite, saying that only scum play on third person servers and there is less crap happening in first person ones. Then you make another 180 and say that you are wrong about third person servers, and zip around again to say something I don't quite understand. As with most of your posts I am left dazed and confused. Have some beans.

Could be that they are now implementing the need to load every round into mags and weapons without the use of stripper clips and its just broken. Only being about to hold one round in the Mosin would just be ridiculous, it makes no sense and goes against everything else they've been doing. That's why I think its just a broken feature ATM. The idea that you have to load every round into a mag and weapon without a stripper clip is pretty neat though. Anyone loaded a bunch of AR mags without a mag loader? Now add your sidearm onto that which generally doesn't HAVE mag loaders! Sore thumbs. ;D That's a big chamber! Just kidding. :P

I was in a very short one the other day. There was a geared and camo'd player sneaking around Solnichniy with his M4 raised, I peeked the corner and he pointed at me. So I shot him in the belly, he fired 2 wide shots and ran away. I later salined him and apologized.

You can name a server whatever you want, but the instant you start kicking or banning people for PvP you can lose your server without refund.

I've got a prestine one I want to trade for a stab vest. Trying to go tacticool. :P

Thats why my group wears yellow raincoats. ^_^ Nobody but us are dumb enough to do so.
