Life Glug

This happened to me with "Civilian Clothing" last night. About 10 mins into a game, I got really lucky and found 3 dead bodies in the Cherno supermarket. I helped myself to some cool loot including an ALICE pack and, an item on a Ghillie clad cadaver, a package of "Civilian Clothing". Once in the safety of the woods, I tried on the clothing. Suddenly, I was swimming in water then, after a few seconds, everything was back to normal except my ALICE pack had been replaced by the default pack. I was running the latest version of DayZ and ARMA Beta.

I was having this problem in .3 so I updated to .4 and the latest ARMA beta and set the DayZ Commander filter to only show servers with those matching versions. Currently .4 servers seem to be in the minority but the first one I tried worked fine. So I don't think any accounts have been corrupted, just need to wait for the servers to update.

Hello. I've just signed up because I wanted to report a similar problem. I was on the outskirts of Berezino yesterday when I logged off. Today I joined a server I'd never used before, when the game loaded there was a message in the bottom-left corner of the screen saying that I had been killed along with a few other players. I had spawned in the middle of noware, just grass and no features. I forced the game to quit, hoping that the bug would not wipe my character from the hive. When I joined a more reliable server, I spawned in Cherno with all my equipment and and in the same state I had been. A bit annoying but not the end of the world as I needed to go to the hospital anyway.
