The more I play, the less I trust. Only time I will ever trust someone is if they are in the open, I'm hidden with plenty of cover (And haven't been found yet.) and they agree to put away or drop their gun and move away from me. Shoot on sight for me means I shoot if I am sighted. I've been shot at under so many circumstances. I can't trust anyone I've not been playing with for more than a few days. There are a few regulars on my server I may make an exception for if I ever see them in game. (No name tags, so hard to tell, but I've yet to kill any of them so that's good.) I am envious of you for meeting three kind strangers in game. You might say my group met two in Cherno, but we had 6, they had 2...so them submitting to us might be because of that. Although we did help with with blood transfusions and the like. Take caution when interacting with others. Some may not be bandits or killers, just really damn paranoid like myself. My group does say I am a bit jumpy...and it is true for good reason.

I've gotten hackers on every big server I joined. My home server which rarely gets above 20 (Usually 10 ~ 15 at peak) has only had one hacker, and it has been 20 days since then. I recommend finding a smaller server if possible to call home until the hackers are slowed down more.

Hello fellow survivors! I go by "mFish" in game, and I am looking for some company. Bought Arma II a couple days ago for the DayZ mod, and after having two rough encounters with players. (One shot me on sight, the other was hunting me.) I think it would be best I come here to look for a group here rather then brave it out on the servers. I stick to the east coast servers, I am looking for 1+ people that can manage 100ms or less on those servers to play with. I tend to play slowly and patiently, so I'm not running and gunning everything down, Hoping to find someone of a similar style, or someone whose play style might compliment mine and vice versa. I usually use a ventrilo server for communication in games, but I see a lot of people on the forums use skype so I have one of those too. Skype name: Zombie.hoe.moe.
