  1. I have a hatchet on my toolbelt and a rifle in my main hand but I can't figure out how you switch to the hatchet without dropping the rifle on the ground. Is it possible to switch without doing that?
  2. The realism aspect of this mod is what drew me here but finding out that you could sprint forever and never get caught by zombies really blows the immersion. Even when i'm unarmed in the beginning of a new life, zombies just aren't very scary. If I aggro a few, I'll just run them off. Sprinting needs to be limited by one or several of the following: -Greatly increase thirst/hunger when sprinting -Add an indepth stamina gauge: -The more hurt you are, the less stamina you have -The thirstier you are, the slower stamina regens -The hungrier you are, the faster stamina is used -When stamina levels start reaching critical, vision blurs and you become woozy -If you hit full exhaustion, you lose conscienceness -When tired, you become louder (heavy breathing, weezing)
  3. As a new player, here's my thoughts: I love spawning without a weapon, it creates a really intense immersion and right from the beginning, you know how bad your circumstances are. When you're unarmed and catch a glimpse of another player, your heart stops and there's pure panic as you scramble to gtfo. Even running into zombies is terrifying.
  4. I'm brand new to this game, only played about an hour or 2 now. I'v learned a lot by googling and looking up youtube videos but there are some things i'm having trouble finding answers too. 1. Do you find real players often? I didn't run across one real player in a 90 minute session. The server I joined said it had around 40 people. 2. Is there a global chat to talk with other people playing? I pressed . and / to type and moved to the direct chat but no one ever responded. 3. Speaking of chat, if someone is near me and I use the voice chat, can they hear me? And if so, how close do they need to be? 4. I double clicked a mag of ammo in my inventory and it disappeared, what happened to it? When I checked my handgun, it didn't have any extra ammo. 5. What is the icon above thirst? 6. I had a zombie chasing me and I stopped to switch weapons and shoot it but it hit me once and an hourglass appeared and I couldn't do anything, I just lost all my blood (I had about 9500 blood) and died. 7. I know breaking a leg makes you crawl but what does breaking an arm do and how can I tell if I'v broke something? Can I repair the break with a bandage? If anyone could help me out that'd be awesome! Thanks a lot.

    Your First Life

I just started the game like 10 minutes ago. I was hiding in the building I spawned in to read all the controls when someone else came walking in with me. I had just spawned and didn't have anything and they started hitting me with a crowbar so I took off running. They chased me for about 5 minutes while we picked up maybe 10-15 zombies chasing as well. Finally I remembered you could climb over fences with V from reading some of the controls and managed to lose the person chasing me (I guess they didn't know how to climb the fence). Anyways, she stopped at the fence for a second trying to figure out how to get over and all the zombies killed her. I managed to lose the 1-2 zombies still following me by running into a church and going prone. I was bleeding out so I laid in the church trying to figure out how to open my backpack and bandage myself. I never figured it out and died lol.
