Could be the server you're playing on, too. I get 15-20fps in cities on some servers, 5-8fps on other servers.

I may be off my rocker here, but YouTube re-encodes your video as it uploads to an FLV file. Perhaps if you encode your original video as an FLV...? That or try another file type. Check out all the types YouTube accepts and test which has better quality output on your video.

If he is the admin then he's using his tools for the wrong reasons. There are better ways to go around this. Though I have a feeling he was checking if you had ESP or not. Best way to do that is to either keep tabs on them and/or go invisible / turn into a rabbit. I've never done the invis / rabbit trick but I hear it picks them up pretty easily. Make sure you let the server community know you're unhappy with the way they monitored, since it'll get them to improve their tactics and not interupt gameplay. Then again from the other posts it just seems like they're crappy admins using the tool to benifit the server and themselves rather than the players. I suggest looking somewhere else to play. See if any of your friends have servers they like.

Go to Install/Update Under 'mods': Click on the DayZ dropdown and choose an older version (like 1.7.6.1) If the server name is greyed out it can mean you have the wrong version, mouse over the server you want to get in and see what it is running,

DayZ Commander may be showing the wrong version for the server. Try downgrading to .6 or any lower.

Most servers are their own seperate hives, find a home server that you'll want to use mainly since your stuff won't be carried across. Public servers can be ones that aren't whitelisted and may still be on their own seperate private hive.

Edit: for text being not as sharp, turn down the interface resolution. You may want to keep all your settings to your native resolution, for your eyes sake.
