I've been safe 90% of the times I've been there. Have encountered one guy who wanted me dead, and only a few others who just went their own way without interaction. I feel it's pretty safe for scrounging up loot. You guys just be unlucky. Or only me and OP lucky.

I would help you out if I could somehow drag your body. That way I could get you out, bonus being you'd still be alive. Shooting your legs and making you pass out can work, but unfortunately it sounds like your legs are impossible to hit. I'll ask my friend if he's up for helping you, he's the one that takes the shots haha.

I think a balance between the two is a good point. I like ultra-realistic games as they're just amazing. I also like stylistic graphics because they're fun. You're able to have games like Mirror's Edge, which is stylised and realistic at the same time, that game was beautiful and fun.

You're just helping out! I'd get scared and possibly try to see where they are, and maybe shoot back. But after a few zombies fall I'd probably realise and leave them loot for them as thanks.

Hello! Graphics isn't the main thing this game uses most. The ARMA II engine likes to use a lot of CPU, so you should consider updating your RAM (in all a 64bit computer even) and other CPU more than the GPU. Though a decent to good graphics card will help.

Hello, to help you out with your problem, you may need to re-think some things. Some (not all) servers will have a low-pop count because of the issues like lag. You cannot tell why there aren't so many people, so keep a record of servers that do and don't work. Depending on the server location and time of day will also affect the player count. Also use DayZ Commander, it is a lot better, more options for filtering and a nicer input to it. Another problem is sometimes Battleye stops responding and haults you from continue your connection when loading in. This has happened to me quite a bit, and if my friend doesn't tell me it malfunctioned, I would stay stuck on the loading screen without a clue why. So some servers where you get stuck on loading is because Battleye crashed. You don't see an error message unfortunately.

I am confused, are you asking which button changes the chat or how global chat actually works? You have to press ' , ' to switch between chat modes.

Is it turned on? Is it plugged in from the wall? Maybe try another mouse? If you have been playing before, look at the key bindings in the controls perhaps.

It isn't the IP, but the CD key. I'm not sure how to do this off of steam, I hope there is still a way to do it. You'll need to save your current key (or his, if his were the last launched) from the registry, and then re-install using your account, then export the registry CD key file. I think this should cover it: I hope your problem gets fixed.
