I wonder how many players, like myself, have come and gone several times since start up. I bought SA a couple weeks in and i dont think i logged more that 2 hours the first 2 years. Im a terrible playtester. 90% of the time i wouldn't recognize a bug from something that happens due to my own boneheadedness. So i check in from time to time to see how things are coming along. They are indeed coming along. I think im up to ... maybe 100 hours at this point. I have been looking at the forums recently getting the bug to come back. I might be good for 10 or 20 more hours playtime in the next couple months. Patiently waiting for full release.

Just recently returned at the end of .59 where i never even saw an M4 so i didn't pay much attention to the mags. Yeah mags are easy and do come mostly half or better full, loose rounds are much harder to find. Does condition matter with ammo? Or anything really cuz if it does i haven't noticed.

That did cross my mind to the point that i wonder if something fishy was up. 2 of the 3 times i found multiples. Not in the same place but in the same general area. The mags and ammo are way to plentiful as well.

Lost 3 M4's last 2 days. First time i thought maybe i had done something stupid but the last 2 times i had it in hand when logged out and upon logging in it was gone. -

I consider all you other players NPC's with better AI .... sometimes. :P

Have always felt games are good reflection of how folks really are instead of how they let society dictate how they are. I am always on extra guard when someone says they are friendly. I never say i am friendly. When asked my response has always been. "That depends on you"

Every death is a wipe. Where is the waste of time if you enjoy the game? If you don't enjoy the game why do you play?

You may be right. Whether it was a power struggle or realization of the limitations of the game engine what I took away from his announcements to move on indicated he had lost passion for the project.

Voted Simple damage based system. i don't even like the concept of being able to loot ones own body. Death should be equal to wipe.

I admire Dean for his vision and my way or the hiway attitude. I lost interest in being a play tester the day i heard he was planning to move on end of the year. I doubt i have logged 10 minutes in game since. My gut tells me there was a power struggle and Dean lost. I have been wrong before. I lost my passion for the game in an alpha state. My expectation level for DayZ has been lowered but i still have hope the final release will "resemble" my interpretation of Dean's vision.

Yes of course there is a reason. Even if it be "cuz I can" Random killing is an illusion created by the victim because we have a need to explain the unexplainable. Truth is I don't know WHY he/she killed me. I only know my avatar is dead. I lost my shit and I need to rage because its just not fair. BOO HOO. Reminds me of the guys at the poker table that cry over a bad beat. Suck it up and get back in the game.
