as a carebear, i am not aware that KoS is broken in any way that would need fixing. if you want a PvP-off option and safe neutral zones, you are definitely playing the wrong game. edit: to clarify:

so you're on a heavily modified private hive server? i'd say look for support with them.

i look forward to radios. with your own voip solution, you talk to your friends. with ingame radios, you have the possibility to hook up with strangers in your vicinity (or lure them into a trap). and you'll have people playing "Hits of the 80s" on some frequencies. this will be fabulous.

i dont have much to say. i just think it is a really, really good idea. its an excellent idea. it would let you 'connect' more to your virtual avatar. edit: aaaah. right. there is that thing that you would always know your blood type and thus have no use for blood testing kits except once. damn. well, beans for effort though :P -
The reduction of loot in militarised zones

if you can find a weapon gun within a single average play session (~4 hours), its still far too common. also, be aware that loot balancing is not a priority right now, nor should it be. it can only begin once ALL items are finished and introduced, and item degradation/maintenance is finalised, so dont expect it to be prior to beta. until then, its throwing items at the testers so they have something to use. -
i never played WarZ, but seriously - controls and object/environment interaction in ArmA and now in DayZ SA is an abomination, its horrible beyond description. i love DayZ despite it, though, but its always persistent. i was severely disappointed to find the arma controls in SA.

to be fair, there was a crapton of different shady 'tools' that were used to steal keys.. "FPS Enhancer", "Map Addons" and "Audio Enhancers" among them.. doesnt change the fact that its every users own responsibility to keep his system secure and not execute random shit linked in some youtube vid description having your key stolen proves your inability to secure your system adequately against malware. and noone wants malware-ridden clients connecting to their servers. - so no, "my key was stolen" is not a valid excuse for being banned. edit: also, googling your (not very generic) username returns profiles on cheat forums, so go figure.....

having dozens of character on dozens of servers removes the point of survival for me. "oh, you died? never mind, you have ten other geared characters to chose from. " also, i wouldn't like having my character depend on the whims of a single server. "so you have grown fond of this character, you gave your best and managed to survive for weeks? too bad, the server is gone now." i never enjoyed private hives in the mods. i understand there is a significant part of the community looking forward to private servers, and i fully support their choice - as long as its a choice. forcing server-based characters would be a gamebreaker for me. -

you seem to miss two important points. 1. is the high praise Neil deGrasse Tyson gave to the movie. see http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/10/4823078/neil-degrasse-tyson-gravity-movie-high-quality 2. the difference between artistic depiction in art - drama in particular - and realistic reproduction. for example, Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet is arguably one of the most acclaimed plays, and yet it is historically and socially highly inaccurate - not mentioning the fact that it highly dramatizes the poem it is based on, further departing from depicting the matter "properly" it is sad that so many are all too eager to repeat popular opinions instead of forming their own. -

edit: you do realize there is still an issue with geometry and collision detection? not saying it wasn't a cheater, i wasnt there and didnt study the logs, but at this stage of the game, glitching through walls is daily occurance. oh, and before i forget: get a clue -

It is an excellent movie BECAUSE it isn't scientifically correct. Its a rare gem, a work of art. To say, 'Gravity' was bad because it wasnt scientifically correct is like saying the cubistic paintings of Pablo Picasso are bad because they are not photorealistic. oh boy, this will be fun. -
yeah the whole loot thing is pretty.. basic. you have spots where loot from a given loot table has a chance to spawn, without dedicated spawn spots for certain items. everybody is used to it as thats how it was in the mod, and while i agree that that your suggestion would be far more immersive, i kind of doubt that the team will take that extra work upon them

inb4 ArmA fanbois claim its "realism" to tumble for half a meter everytime you want to shift your position slightly to account for the horrible inaccurate targeting of interaction triggers. yes its annoying. i hate it with a passion. it feels as if the character was heavily drunk. ah well. game is still fun.

orly? you missed the dozens of other threads where this was discussed at lenght? where numerous examples were cited and analyzed, how catastrophic events impact society, how ethics change? people need to understand that a discussion forum requires READING COMPREHENSION. yes it has some aspects of an image board, but you need to understand that this is a discussion forum, not 4chan or 9gag... lol
