Is it possible to have anykind of answer about tents still duping? If they can't be fixed soon would removing them completely be an option and wiping everything for a fresh start? And how about those wire-trolling-kits that started giving major graphical glitches after last patch. Can't see anything in Cherno at the moment. Might you consider removing those from the game too? Or is this like World of Warcraft; if some feature is implemented in the game it won't be removed no matter how broken it is. -

Yes I did read it and understood it. So fucking what? It really doesn't matter if it should have been in the patch or not. ALT+F4 and tents are fucking up the game. If the tents can't be fixed then remove them from the game and wipe everything. -

No 5 second DC-timer, tents still duping shit as always and couldn't respawn even with broken leg. Seems like nothing's working, nice patch \o/ -

FI 1 server is 0.7.2, 95389, 1.7.2.4 according to server admin and the tents are duping stuff just fine. We ran over countless of tents but they just pop up after restart. -

Okay now I have just deemed your posts as trolling and pointless. I have given my points and my reasons. I have many times said that I don't need to nor would I wan't to always spawn at Cherno. You really don't want to or can't understand my reasoning and you don't bring anything in this thread yourself. You don't give any reasonable arguments so why even post in this thread? I have now given all my viewpoints and I really don't need to argue with you. I can only hope that Rocket has more ability to understand others than you. Actually I know he has. I've done my part in this thread now, good bye. -

CoD is crap. The salt in DayZ PvP is that you can actyally lose or gain something. I wan't that excitement from this game. If i hear gunshots, I will go towards them. Seeing Day 10 is hard if you don't avoid PvP and actually seek it. Seeing day 10 is easy if your only opponent is lame zombies. I do stalk with friend, I do search cars, I don't want to run from Krutoy Cap. -

Why is it so hard to understand that there can be a middlegound here. Cap Golova is fine. Krutoy Cap is not. Krutoy Cap is too far from anything. And the game begins when you can actually do something than just to press "W". It really doesn't matter which way you start to run. Running is all you can do. Running is your survival. If you aggro zombie->press more "W". Run inside, quickcheck loot, nothing, move on, run run run until you can find a weapon and get rid of those 10 zombies after you. You dont need to sneak 'cause the zombies are crap. Like I said I wouldn't mind running if it really was interesting but it is not. -

My point is that why go one way or another. Remove respawn but give reasonable spawn points. Krutoy Cap isn't reasonable. And I don't mean that you should spawn next to cherno either like some players like to understand my posts. Middle ground, compromise, pick your word. -

Have you considered the reason why they press respawn? Have they been given a reasonable choice? Is it so hard to understand that not everyone wants to run 20 minutes gearless at the coastline. There are few spawnpoints that are just stupid. Okay, spawning at the same place with friends is a new feature that they can't do right now. Spawning alone at Krutoy Cap is retarded. And it's fun to argue with you ppl. First it is the "adventure" that removing respawn brings. Then I pretty much negate that argument and now you WRITE IN CAPS and tell others how they are douchebags by pressing respawn and start insulting. I have given an reasonable alternative. Remove respawn but adjust spawn points at the same time. Shouldn't be hard I guess. Like Rocket have said he needs both viewpoints in this thread but alas it seems I can give my point without too much insulting and too much capslock. -

For me and to many others the "adventure" doesn't start at spawn. Pressing "W" for 20 minutes isn't adventure. It isn't survival. You don't need to scavenge the little crappy towns to survive. Only real threat in this game is bugs, glitches and other players. Maybe for you the coastline marathon is an adventure but why your opinion should matter? Keeping respawn buttong doesn't take anything from you. You can still choose not to press it. But taking it away takes something away from many other players. I really don't mind if I spawn at Cap Golova or Komarovo etc. But places like Krutoy Cap and Three Valleys are just trolling. There should be some compromise here. If they remove respawn they should remove some spawn points. And at least I have given reasons and points in my posts for my opinions unlike you. -

There are things that need testing and things that doesn't. I can easily foresee that the removing respawn is nothing more than a mild annoyance. If I spawn for example at Three Valleys (one of the crappies spawn points in game) I'll just find a zombie to kill me. How does that help with anything other than making the start even more annoying? Does it really need testing? Run 20 minutes only to die because of some glitch or hacker. What is it testing? How annoying they can make the game until players stop playing? And you can break your leg in this game just by opening a door. A zombie can one shot you 'cause the hit glitched you inside a wall and you die. I have proned inside a house and it glitched me through the wall and I fell to my death. I fell 3 steps in a staircase and my leg broke. And the list goes on... -

You really don't expect a lot from a game if running along the coast in DayZ is an adventure. For me the adventure in this game comes from encounters with other players. Zombies are so glitched crap that they really don't bring much to this game as an adventure. Eating and drinking are simple and easily handled too. Why should they cater your needs but not mine in this game? If you spawn at Cherno there is nothing stopping you from running along the coastline east and west to get your "adventure". But if I spawn at Three Valleys then I'm pretty much fucked and I need to find a zombie to kill me so I don't waste my time in this lame "adventure" of yours. As I've said before I don't mind the running if it really was "survival" and "adventure" but the sad thing is that this game doesn't have that. Maybe it was at the beginning but after you've run enough times from Kamenka to Cherno it does get old. And simple solution to accidently pressing respawn is..... to not press respawn! Doh. There is no other to blame than yourself if you press it. Should I suffer from it if you're stupid enough to accidently press it? Keeping respawn button doesn't take anything away from you but removing takes something away from me and from many other players. I can understand that respawn takes a toll on the servers but then they should give players an alternative for respawn. -

There is no survival against environment or against zombies in this game. Period. If you die to zombie then it's a major l2p issue. My gear encourages me to stay alive. If I spawn at South-east corner of the map I couldn't care less if I die while running towars Electro. Maybe I get lucky and spawn at Cherno if I happen to die gearless at the coast. If they want to fit it with "the overall theme" maybe they should implement this thing called survival in this game. Until they do it's PvP and best PvP in a long time 'cause you actually lose something (assuming they fix the tent dupe crap). But making people press "W" for 20 minutes to get to a friend's location or just to get to a big city is just trolling. And I mean when you and your friend both spawn. If your friend is inland then the running is indeed part of the game. But not that stupid gearless coastline marathon. -

Why is it so hard to fathom that there isnt "survival" or "adventure" in this game. The "survival" against zombies is to press "W" button for X amount of time until you reach Cherno/Electro etc. You never start that far away from a big city that you'd die from thirst/hunger. You start from Kamenka and your friend starts from Cap Golova. You start running east and your friend to west. No use to loot the crappy little town on the way 'cause they are...well...crappy. So in the end your survival or adventure is to press "W" button until you reach cherno. Gosh that's exciting. And after you've done that few dozens of times it gets kinda old. I don't mind the long run if it really had some "survival" in it but at this moment the game doesn't have that.
