  1. Hey guys, Let me start off at the beginning. I've been playing Day Z for months (bought arma just for it) with no problems, I play usually on high-very high settings with fine FPS (not really sure what number exactly as I don't have a way to track it but I can tell it ran perfectly smooth). A bit more recently, I started playing Lingor Island which was giving me a weird "choppy" gameplay, not necessarily bad but choppy and I preferred it to be smooth. In order to fix this, I tried some things like messing with my arma2oa.cfg file (changing the max fps ahead/behind settings and a few other things I found on google). This didn't help my game really so I left it. I can't remember exactly when but shortly after I did this my game seemed to...die. The only way to really explain this is I have what seems like 1 FPS and the game is literally unplayable. The weird thing is, it's not just Day Z. I often play on zargabad/takistan life servers and I get this lag on those servers as well. I've done everything I can think of, changing settings, adding a ramdisk to my computer, hell I even reinstalled the game completely. Nothing has worked, and here's where it gets really odd...whenever I play on the server Day Z 9999 (or something like that) my game runs flawlessly just like before. Perfect FPS on max graphics, no problems at all. I haven't tried a million servers but I have tried quite a few and with every other server I simply cannot play. Chernarus, Lingor, Takistan, it doesn't matter the map they are all unplayable to me. I've spent a lot of time on google and I haven't found anyone with a problem like mine and I really have no idea how to fix it. I hope you guys can help me! I'll post my computer specs below. Processor: Intel® Core i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz (4CPUs) Memory: 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Just as a side note I'll list some of the things I've tried so far off the top of my head. Changing GPU_MaxFramesAhead=0; and GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0; to 0, 1, and the defaults (1000 and 3 respectively) Verifying integrity of my game caches (for some reason I always get 1 or 2 files that were errors and were reacquired when I do this) Full reinstallation of both Arma 2 and OA Lowering/raising in game settings Closing background applications Anything else you can think of for performance tweaks, however I don't think I need performance tweaks as I can run the one server and probably others I have yet to try just fine. It seems like my game has cancer on every server except that 1 so far and I have no clue what the fix might be.
  2. Hey guys, I know Lingor Island isn't technically a part of Rocket's Day Z but I figured maybe someone would be able to help me. For some reason, on Lingor Island, I get really bad FPS lag. I don't get FPS lag when I'm playing on Chernarus or playing normal Arma II or any other thing like Zargabad Life or anything like that. Additionally, I get the lag on Takistan although I don't really play that map so that doesn't bother me too much. The best way I can really describe the lag is my game is just "choppy". If anyone could help that'd be awesome, and thanks in advance.

    Lingor Island FPS lag

It's not that either sadly, it's any Lingor Island server I choose.

    Lingor Island FPS lag

I thought it might be that too, until I watched people streaming Lingor Island with no problems :/ also, I usually play on a server that restarts every 3 hours so I'm not really sure what the issue is! I've googled it a bit and there's a few threads I've found about general tweaks to improve FPS while playing Day Z but they don't change anything for me in Lingor
