  1. Ok, so far it seems I have fixed this issue. I turned Ambient Occlusion setting in Nvidia control panel off for Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead.
  2. Yes driver is up to date. There was mention of increasing render distance. There is no such setting, only "Visibility" which doesn't fix the issue. My video card is a GTX 670. I never had this issue back when I played in 2012 on this same system.
  3. I just re-installed DayZ recently to play again. I noticed this weird hazy blur on things in the distance and couldn't remember it ever being in the game previously. Is this something you have noticed? Is it something to do with a recent version? I think it looks really ugly and am trying to find out what it is. Cheers

    Battleye Script Restriction #185

me too. Quite insulting to be kicked with this error when I have no idea how to run scripts.

Using smartphone as mic for DayZ

Funny, I have just tried this with Teamspeak. I also have a Galaxy Nexus, but find that if I join on my PC for listening to communications, then join with my Phone to act as a mic, it says "Too many clones connected" or similar. Could you tell me how you use the phone to talk, but your PC headphones/speakers to listen to comms and also the game sounds? By the way, I installed the Teamspeak app for Android and am connecting through that for my mic. Perhaps you just found a way to make you phone a mic? What is your setup?
