Hey, The server my tent is on changed name. Great. After several logins to different servers,in fast succession, looking for my tent, I suddenly found myself to be without any tools, weapons or backpack. The rest of the inventory was intact. Did I experience a non-hive server!? Known bug? I'm suspicious to one of the servers (all found in DayZCommander) since I was transformed into a cow (...) soon after login. Tent found but I'm now without a rifle. Can anyone shed any light on how to avoid this in the future? Cheers!

Ahh, thanks for the reply. The only remaining mystery is then the pellet/slug switch. Now I realise it could perhaps be how I had stacked the ammo in my inventory (combined or not). As for the menu, the MR43 video at wikidayz (http://dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=MR43) @ 0:48 shows the menu. I have newer seen 'Quick menu' in my gui. Maybe that video is an old version - beats me.

Hi all, I have been at it for perhaps 20 hours total, and I'm lovin' it. Perhaps help me out on these questions, which I've searched info but did not find the answers too: 1. How do I switch between pellets and slugs for my shotgun? I saw a reference to a menu and typing text, but I cannot find it in-game. Please explain it like I am a 10yr old. I do have non-standard keyboard and mouse which might affect things, but I have bindings intact. 2. When having prim and secondary weapon I can get a menu/info mode out by mouse scrolling. In that mode I can also identify distances and names. Good. When I do not have two weapons I cannot get that menu started at all. Tips on how to do it? Today I got my first sniper rifle but had no secondary weapon --> no distance info. 3. In 1st person view I'm shaking pretty bad. I got my health back to 12k, am not hungry or thirsty, no broken bones or shock and have been standing still a long time. Am I missing something? My temp is 42 degrees which seems bad. Am I sick, lol? Using my sniper is not an option at the moment as I would not hit a barn door from some distance. 4. The yellow or red broken chain indicator kind of midscreen indicates lagg to server, or what? Gameplay seems smooth even with a red indicator... W00t, just placed my first tent!
