Yep, By the way External hacks can easily bypass VAC so VAC isn't all that great either sorry.

VAC isn't all that great either you know, but it's because Arma 2 is an old game and there were many many hackers before DayZ. So all they did was change the script up a little bit so it worked for DayZ. They use to spawn crates and cars in like Deathmatch on Arma 2.

I don't want the bandit skins back. Why? I would kill people for it, wouldn't you? It's a nice camo style skin who doesn't want that. Maybe some carebears or something like that, but it was removed to slow PVPing, it kinda had little effect though..

The ones I saw say all that you just said, giving medics clothing and people who hunt bandits their own clothes. Try searching a bit harder. These posts are everywhere

You mentioned about having no painkillers and who carries those. Who keeps a makarov around the house? I have some guns, mainly for actually hunting. I'm not trying to be a troll or an asshat. I'm just saying you should really just start with bandages or something like that. I usually drop my backpack at the very beginning when I spawn and just chill with the painkillers and bandage

I have seen this posted SOOOO many times.

How long have you been playing? You use to spawn with a water bottle, baked beans, makarov with quite a bit of mags. They were removed to make the game less PVP and harder..I think, but yea It really isn't that hard at all to find decent stuff in the first five minutes of the game. I found a coyote backpack and a PDW with 3 mags in less than 40 seconds of spawning. You just gotta keep trying if this post is mainly about how you can't find stuff and you wish this would happen so you would stop dying so often.

Making DayZ console. Only problem with that. Go look at your keyboard, then all of the buttons used in Arma 2, pretty much all of them. A don't think a controller has all of them.. I know you said in your post about too many buttons, but I use just about all the buttons and problem with a controller some of these double tapping could lead to you doing just the regular one tap, it could get quite annoying. Don't you use your whole numpad? Cause I do to play the game. I mean I would like to see this on console maybe, but it's just a little harder to do, It's made for the pc. I do give you my beans for actually being smart on the topic though and not just posting "Oh this should be on console it would be c00l"

If the tents full it usually puts stuff outside near it. I never heard of all your stuff going poof.

Those things are damn well rare. I have personally only found one in someone's tent before. Many people want those, even I will trade a lot for them. The L85s also are very nice.

I'm kinda getting tired of people posting about how they should fix all the hackers and scripters. It's just annoying to see. Arma 2 had scripts waaaay before DayZ. I garantee most of you who post talking about how to fix it and such have never read a script in your life. (Atleast not a hacking kind of script) When this becomes it's standalone it will cut the hackers back sure, but scripts can still be made and used. Nothing is unhackable. Your not gonna stop the scripting by raging on the forums about it. Sure report the people you see doing it ya know? Atleast that's some hackers down or so, but please..just stop with the posts saying this is how you should fix it or it needs to be fixed now, because you cannot stop scripters and hackers. I'm not asking for everyone to agree with me, I'm just stating an opinion.

This whole post still makes me lol. How you think it's an easy tweak, That's total bullshit right there. There are no such thing as a easy tweak in scripting or editing any game engine at all. One letter or symbol off and it pretty much blows the game up.

So the old VAC must have been amazing right? You realize VAC sucks just as much as battle eye. Back in the Arma 2 days people barely hacked. Over the years hacking has jumped.

Ever heard of external scripts? Probably not. Those are the scripts that make it passs VAC. Nothing in secure. Making DayZ a standalone, hopefully somebody changes the engine up a bit. Which would mean new scripts would have to be made.

Really cause when I first started I would run hide and disconnect if I was shot out. If someone is gonna kill me, they better do it with the first shot. I use to also disconnect when I heard gunfire near. That was way back in the day when you started with a makarov though. I don't do that shit anymore, because as I said. If your gonna shoot me, better kill me with the first hit/shot.

Now this is a decent idea, only problem is servers going down for good or something like that, ruining your day completely -epicsadface- But I mean it does prevent people on low pops going to high pops and spawning on the factory on cherno and moving down everyone. Sir take my beans.

Nope still don't see the point, I agree with the other guy. Your a complete idiot. Do you even realize how to script do you even know how hard it would be to put that into a game it would take maybe more than a year even if your the best scripter ever. YOU FAIL TO SEE THE POINT. This is IMPOSSIBLE. I repeat once more I like this in RETROSPECT, but it will NEVER work. NEVER EVER FLAT OUT NOOOOO. Does the raging caps help you see my point now? Please go to a gmod file and read the Lua file for me and tell me if you understand it, or better yet READ ME KOBRA or something computer language wise. As they say you cannot fix stupid and you sir really seem to fall under the stupid category, because of your raging over the internet. When you decide to actually find how stupid this idea is let me know. This would ruin the game competely you cannot remove computer commands. When you manage to remove a computer command please let me know, I would then gladly give you my steam account that I have had for 8-9 years along with a life time supply of beans. Back to the issue of killing you. It's harsh and damn well stupid. People do this in other games aswell. It's called RAGE QUITTING ever heard of it?
