Just as you can't moderate in-game chat, you can't moderate the letters. I could see the argument for banning curse words, but that would be a facile attempt--how many times have people s p e l l e d out words to snigger to themselves about how they're playing a game with the name p e n i s? It'd be a never-ending rabbit hole, resulting in nothing gained but the banning of regular words that happen to have similar spellings. Besides, that string of words would be EXACTLY what they'd be saying to you right now if they were in front of you. People aren't nice, unfortunately, and this game is rated M (publisher not responsible for online interactions blah blah blah). I think this is something both bandits and survivors would get an enormous kick out of. This is how we get server-spanning grudges, by identifying the people who killed us (imagine the killer adding the killed on steam as a way to turn-the-knife, so to speak) when they want to be identified. Bandits? Imagine you had a note with everyone you've killed thus far in-game. No one knows your kill count once you die; this is your small chance at immortality when another bandit gets ya. I sincerely believe that the community will come up with even cooler ways to use this than we can think of now.

It's not--damage is comparable to a flipping Macaroni, the iron sights suck, it has an immense amount of muzzle flash (you'll blind yourself at night), and mags are super rare. Congrats, you're the proud owner of a lemon. Go back to the helicopter and pick up your AKM. EDIT: And scarcity is not a predictor of value--Mountain Dews are also rare and also worthless.

Searching the mart, big house, smaller house and school in Electro (the ones all close to each other) I found in sum 11 crowbars. It's bound to happen at some point, and as core mentioned they are definitely low on the totem pole.

I've found 3-4 shots quickly works better than one shot at a time... also, I am not sure that they have a 'head' hitbox.

There are few pure survivors and bandits; most of us fall into the misty grey realm between. It's fun living in absolutes, though.
