I have tried that before to no success. However, I use a NVIDIA gpu and its possible with how the fix I posted doesn't seem to work with AMD cardsthat your fix might not work with NVIDIA cards.

I'll try keep this nice and short. While running to meet up with some friends, M4A1 in hand, I looked over my shoulder to see what appeard to be a new player crouch running about 30 meters behind me. I immediatly stopped, turned around, and told the player to stop moving. He didn't have a mic to respond with, but he did use the text chat. I told him to drop his bag to the ground and run down the hill we were on to the nearby road and wait. Surprisingly, he did exactly that. I searched through his to bag to find absolutely nothing. Now aware that he had no means to fight back, I decided to lend him a hand. I threw and extra can of food and a drink into his backpack. I then told him to come retrieve his backpack and then run the other way. He approached it VERY slowly, but a warning shot made him hurry up. :P He grabbed his backpack and took off, only to stop shortly after to type Thank You into chat. I replied with a "yup, now go" as I fired another warning shot. It may not have been the most kind thing to happen to him, but it made it feel good. :D

Whats your gpu? AMD or NVIDIA?

By the time you do that a few times, you could of very easily of changed your settings. This fix is able to get rid of the artifacts in an area that you are in and once the fix is completed then there is no worries of artifacts in that loaded area for the time being. Given this fix doesn't seem to be working with AMD cards at the moment, but it still seems to work quite well for NVIDIA users.

Nothing to do? That's the beauty of the game. You do what YOU want to do. Want a real challenge? Take over Skalisty Island. Barricade it down. Own the choppers on the server, collect the boats, and "run" Chernarus from YOUR island. Make you and your group an ever-lasting threat to every other survivor.

Lol. Well to be fair, my search for a fix just brought up more complaints and lame fix of exit the server and rejoin. :P

Glad to know that it works for others! Are you using a NVIDIA card by any chance?

Unfortunately, I can't get into talking about gpu settings with you due to that this fix is only being used on NVIDIA cards at the moment. Do you know if you were receiving the artifacts from dead soldiers or wire fencing?

Me and a friend of mine have any easy fix for the glitch. Just switch you Video Memory setting. EX: My Video Memory is set to Default. The artifacts start going all crazy on my screen, and I just switch my Video Memory setting to Very High. Later on I run into some more artifacts doing the dance of the gypsies on my screen and switch my Video Memory from Very High to Default. Give it a shot. Works great for me and my friend.

I'm not going to quote your entire post Thievery, but you misspoke a bit. I actually had an M4A3 CCO, not an AK74 Kobra. ;)

Could really use the NVG's. Do you still have them for trade?

So, played all last night with some people and was looking to pick back up today. We can't get into any server though. Every time we get stuck on the loading screen when trying to connect in game. This is happening on every server we have tried, and yes we have simply waited but after 10 minutes it's a little ridiculous. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've used those servers that load super quick before, but this situation is different. 10+ servers and not one is loading under 10 minutes if at all.

Would anyone be able to deliver some morphine? I can provide location and setup a time/server for a meet up.
