Was in a castle. Had to step over corpses under bags on the stairs. I press V, I vault over the body... suddenly my body turns left and I fall all the way down to the ground and die.

Is your Arma from Steam? It seems that sometimes Steam doesn't install Battleye for OA. Copy the Battleye folder in arma2 and paste it in arma2: operation arrowhead.

Get the G17. Pistol + flashlight. Or M4 with flashlight or Remington with flashlight.

So you don't need batteries for weapon flashslights? what about simple flashlights?
