You forgot the fact that there were multiple posts (including mine) stating that "Undead Labs were doing their thing for quite a while."

I just spawned, I was heading towards Cherno to meet up with my group. I was unarmed, and after making a detor, I went back to follow the road along the treeline. Once I got to a comfortable position, I saw another survivor with a hatchet running away from a zombie in the same direction as I was heading. I approached him once the zombie was dead, and yelled something along the lines of "Hey, bro!" He responded, I told him I was going to meet with my friends in Cherno, and asked him where he was going. I don't remember exactly what he said after that, but I remember him asking me if I wanted to group up with "us." I felt a bit uneasy and told him, "No, I'm going to Cherno, with my friends." After I said that he started to swing his hatchet at me. I was caught off-guard, so I just kind of stood their, I started going down once I realized what just happened, and without thinking yelled out in direct chat, "Ahh you faggot," to which he started laughing at in direct chat. I wish I knew what server that was on. I hold no hard feelings against the fellow, as it provided me with as much laughs as it probably did with him, and since I just spawned, it was only a minor inconvenience.

Personally I don't care how you play. If you're friendly, good for you, if you're a bandit, good for you, I won't try to make you change you're play style, as it would ruin your fun. But to say that its realistic that people would shoot each other at the slightest glimpse of one another like complete fucking psychopaths is stupid.

Who'd buy gear knowing some asshat is going to shoot them and take it, regardless of how they got it.

It might have been an illegitimate Huey, that was my first day playing, and it was the first time any of us had found a helicopter, and there are a lot of people running scripts in this game to spawn stuff so, Stubbies could be right, and their not actually supposed to be in the game.

I'm pretty sure there supposed to be in the game, me, my friend, and a friendly survivor we teamed up with found one the other day at an airfield.

I normally wouldn't find it entertaining either, but watching idiots at work might be a bit fun to watch.

Knowing how to deal with other players is certainty is a core part of the game, and the hardest part to get a grasp on. Its not easy trying to figure out another guy's intentions.

I actually almost killed an unarmed guy today. I was in the barracks near balota, when I heard some flies buzzing around the radio tower. I go up to the top floor and I find a dead survivor, find a PDW on him with ammo, and as I turn around to go back down the stairs this dude come out of nowhere. Only able to see his head, I say "You friendly buddy, I will shoot you," since I was low on blood, really jumpy, and not willing to take chances. He doesn't respond, so I shoot right above his head and he runs away. I wait a little bit, and go down the stairs to the first floor where I wait underneath since I figured he'd try to go back to that corpse soon enough. I waited for him to go up so I could leave, until he came back to check under the stairs while being chased by a crawling zombie. I saw he was unarmed before he went up the stairs, so I killed the zombie that was chasing him, and continued looting the place. TL;DR: People will shoot unarmed survivors out of panic sometimes, not just for teh lulz. Still be careful around other players, and try to talk to them.

Funny story, though it still doesn't make you any less of an ass.
