I've aimed everywhere and pressed L multiple times, sometimes rapidly sometimes with a 5 second gap, doesn't turn on... tried that too in first and third person, didn't work :( Put it back, took it out, put it back, drop it on the ground, put it in a box, put that box inside another box, HIT IT WITH MAH HATCHET, still didn't turn on :( made sure of that too, still didn't turn on. I swear it was the server I spent more time playing on. I disconnected, got some munchies, connected to a different one, had NO issues, Press L, light turns on :D ... now to adress the fact that I got chased from one side of the map to the other in the pitch back (no bars in the eye marker) and ONE bar in the ear marker, yet 4 zombies didn't break aggro? I wasn't bleeding, I was at 12000 blood, I didn't have anything on me, but I couldn't shake those 4 zombies, they chased and chased and chased and chased, just to see what happened (since I started in a wooded area, near a house, hence the zombies) I ran from Kamenka through Komarovom Balota and into Chernogorsk and had the same 4 Military "zombies" on my arse. :( ((I used quotes over zombies because an infected person could chase me like that, but a zombie and I mean a animated corpse brought back to life by mystical, or medical means, i.e. rotting flesh, couldn't keep up with someone with unending endurance like that))

so I spawn, put flashlight to equip slot, everything is dandy, press L flashlight turns on, press L it turns off. Grand, great, wonderful. I explore, find a knife, a watch. Then some flares a few wire fences, dodging zombies all the while. Challenge! Intrege! Excitement! Suddenly I see someone elses flashlight in the village ahead, press L, flashlight off, press Z, go prone. Did he see me? are there zombies around? am I gonna have to respawn? D: No, the other flashlight heads north, I slowly start south, mind you it's the middle of the night, darkness as far as you can see (seewutIdidthar?), pull out flashlight, press L... Nothing. press L again, still nothing. Did my batteries die? how I wish this was one of the shakeable copper coil flashlights so I wouldn't have dead D cells D: Breaking my L key it finally turns on! Huzzah! I can see! I can see zombies all around me!! Evade Evade Evade... and I pressed L again, which turned off the light I so needed, and it won't come back on, Why? WHY? this is going to kill me!! D: TL;DR Pressing L doesn't turn on the flashlight, I've done everything I can think of to turn it on, de-equiping, dropping, logging out, nothing turns the light back on... do I really need to find more batteries??
