First you decide to betray somebody for their Bizon and ALICE pack, then you don't seem to understand that guns need ammo to operate (I mean seriously. You looked in his backpack twice and didn't see that there's literally no items other than the M16), then you run away continuously like an idiot, when he isn't even shooting you, instead of just saying "haha just joking, here's your gun back bro", and then you finish off by ALT+F4ing to avoid death. This has been a problem for ages but it's really annoyed me tonight. It's 22:37 GMT right now and I want to play a daytime server, so I search for "GMT-8" (14:37) and the first three I join are all dark. I don't mind night time servers, but if I'm a fresh spawn I don't want to run around Balota and not be able to see shit. Since when was it okay for server hosts to advertise different timezones than the one the server is actually in?

Yes, exactly. I think what happens is that the admin and their friends get NV goggles and just figure they'll change the time of the server without bothering to update the name. Until we can get the actual time displayed in the server browser, it should be part of the server rules that the advertised timezone must be correct.

I am a legit player but I constantly find tents that have gear in them. I take this shit, and when I come back there is always more. Right now tents are duping items BY DEFAULT and to avoid duping you have to make sure you save the tent every single time you use it (and half the time it doesn't work). I want to obtain my stuff by playing the game not by duping, but when my tents and other peoples are automatically giving me items all the time it's pretty difficult to keep track. If you just had to put a little effort in to dupe, it would be far less of a problem for legitimate players.

Of course that would be ideal, but inventory and storage systems like this always have multiple bugs and chances are there's going to be another way to dupe items if they remove this one. However I don't think a few groups of cheaters duping items is really an issue compared to every single person that uses a tent receiving multiples of their items when they didn't want them. People who put the effort in to do some kind of complex duping glitch can be banned and dealt with like any other kind of cheater but it's not as easy to deal with when tents are basically item duplication machines. Sure, in the long run it needs to be impossible to dupe items, but for now just making it so it's not the default behavior of tents would be a big step forward.

Mine did this today, I was confused because I was pretty sure it wasn't meant to happen but it seemed plausible since it's such a big gun. Guess it's a bug.

Kinda hard to describe the problem and I can't take screenshots due to not running through steam, but here goes. I get these fucked up shapes all over my screen when I scope in with my sniper and sometimes just when I'm looking about. They make it impossible to see anything. I used to get similar problems when looking at barbed wire but this is just at the airfield, no barbed wire anywhere. Tried multiple different servers (all with correct versions) and got the same issue. Any ideas for what I need to do? Edit: It seems to get worse when I set "Object Detail" any higher. However even at Very Low it is still making things very difficult to see. Very informative post. This needs to be fixed ASAP, it really is a game-breaking issue. I can't go anywhere near military zones and have no need of gear from anywhere else, so I don't have much to do. With all the information everyone has provided it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.

Well, now we've established that it's the dead military zombies that are on the ground at military bases that are causing this problem, it shouldn't take long to fix it. However this whole thread is still apparently being ignored.

Either you haven't updated or you're on a server that hasn't updated or both.

No, it isn't. My video memory has been on default the whole time. Changing it to anything else doesn't work either.

You don't need NFOPad, just regular notepad will work fine. However this "fix" is the same as turning object detail to very low in the in-game video options. It didn't do anything for me.

This isn't very helpful. I've done this and it doesn't solve the problem. It might do for some people but don't presume it will for everyone.

Hopefully this will get a fix soon. It seems to be one of the most common issues people are getting following these latest updates.

Yeah, this. My friend who just bought a brand new £800 computer is getting the same shit so it's not just low end PCs or cheap graphics cards. Razor wire and tank traps are primarily used for griefing anyway, if the textures can't be fixed they should be temporarily removed.
