The best time to consume food? It depends alot of times you might drop beans or other food items due to the stupid inventory management and then once you look for them oh no! id say eat them as soon as it is redish so you wont die.

I think right now people want the core basics to be fixed, there not craving challange as the game is challanging enough. If the game was finished and perfect I would gladly take on this realism. I do however aprove of the gun vs backpack space idea, I think its gonna be fixed soon.
