update: it looks like deleting and reinstalling both arma 2 and editing the config files worked!

i7 975 asus gtx 670 6gb ram win 7 ultumate 64bit game installed on crucial m4 SSD 128gb game fluctuates between 80 fps down to 0 , literally making the game look like it freezes every 2 seconds, only running dayz mod does it do this vanilla arma runs fine, its never done it in the past ( i had to reformat about 2 weeks ago ) and just last night i reinstalled the game and mod , ive tried reinstalling mod and multiple servers and it hasnt helped.. any idea what could cause this?

i was one of the few people who was with reyington and the rest of the group when that happened, the server is a joke, blatant admin abuse at its finest.

possible user "givemeyourmoney" teleported everyone to the top of a red building at stary sobor, occured at 10:41pm EST .

in Stary Sobor, hacker with a gille suit and what appears to be a .50 cal rifle killed Zagum and Achem players, then teleported to just outside the town on a hill where me and a fellow player were and we managed to shoot him a few times while he was stuck/lagged out on a rock. then dissapeared. One of our players saw him dissapear and reappear in a different spot. also Achem respawned and reported that "everything was on fire" and the hacker appeared right in front of him and killed him again. this happened around 8:00-8:05pm EST. Server US 809.
