Rocket is only creating a game he would love to play, you like it or not. Thats your decision thats what he made on Mod thats what he is going to do on Standalone Project. He has quoted many many times, this game most likely will not be for casual community but for the hardcore class.

Hello there I decided to make thread where you can watch, read and tell your opinions about the upcoming DayZ Standalone. I first made this to Off topic but then i realized this could be the right place for it. it all started 9 months ago on september 2012 (click to open the post). 8 months ago we got our first look, on how Standalone version of DayZ would look like (SCREENSHOTS). I want to confess about my Friend Althuin. We went to berenzino, everyone was happy, we were supposed to loot hospital and some vehicle parts, we started our journey with the server only working helicopter our Mi17. Landing and the journey went well, untill we went to the hospital ofc alot of zombie encounters a little blood loss and that, then we took a blue minivan and went to the industrial area. We found 2 Tractors, fueled both of them and started looting some areas on berenzino, we had the time of our lives with the tractors just rolling around and roadkilling zombies :D, but i knew something bad is going to happen. We had alot of Vehicle parts and ammo, then we decided to go to our Mi17 the server only helicopter. I decided to repair the hull. my other friend Maisteri was just running towards the mi17. and we drove an parked our tractors well my friend Althuin was parking the tractor right next to the heli when i was repairign the hull of it, then BOOOM! Heli blew up, I died, Althuin did not even get a scratch and our jerrycans, antibiotics, guns and all, also the SERVERS ONLY HELICOPTER went up in smoke. If i would say i feel a bit Guilty. i would be lying. I feel very guilty.

I forgot to give you guys my big surprise. i just took away all the hazzle on the background.

i had a dream twice, happend a week ago. First night i saw a dream about Standalone hitting steam and me downloading it, next night i saw a dream about me playing the game. Coinsidence or is this a sign that the release is close... very close

I think im bad luck brian, there was 5 people in the server + Me and i bumped into a guy and he shot me :o

Nametag system would be nice, under your name it would say like this (Survivor) or (Bandit), or (Hero) if you point your crosshair at someone

just by meeting at coast that would make cherno and elektro even bigger war zones as they are now, because if players have the freedom of choosing where they spawn? No one is going to spawn to Kamenka, komarovo, kamyshovo or solnichniy because those are far away from everything. only spawns near elekro and cherno would be chosen by players because of quick loot. Though don't know what would happen because of the even harder infected than now currently on dayz mod. (and those pricks are hard) no one knows, as i think even further all i see is infinent amoutn of cons and just few pros

I find your lack of creativity distrubing, please like many has said before, the main point of standalone is to increase the amount of player interaction and the survival aspect we have enough kos kiddies already joining in to standalone, please change your behavior, go to therapist or sumthing! Also the zombies are going ot be even harder than currently in the mod. Are you seriously just trolling here? ammo and guns are also alot more rare.

When you don't know what to do, you get kinda cornered inside your head, then its easy to pull the trigger, also getting used to violence in a situation like that makes people cold.
