I mean, yes I know the game's in alpha stage, far from content completion and is still buggy, I'd just like to know what kind of things should I strive for. After looting enough things to fill my character with weapons and means of survival, what left is there for me save helping other players, replacing my existing equipment with pristine conditioned parts, or becoming a bandit?

If I lead that group, I would instead tell everyone to stop, go prone and observe. If these survivors would've gotten closer, I'd have used voice chat Direct Communication and warn them or ask them if they're hostile or not, all while having the entire group aim at them. No need to shoot on sight just because they MIGHT be dangerous.

So I was playing with my friend on a certain German server, when of all the sudden the server crashed or something, so tried to find another server. Next thing we know, our characters were reset and we spawned like new players. I know this mod is in alpha, but surely there is some sort of backup to a previous state of our characters? Can anyone help me with this?
