I'm not sure if this goes here or not, so if not I'm sorry. Anyways, I have been playing DayZ for a while, although it has not been the smoothest experience I have had fun none the less. My computer is not a gaming PC by any means, but it is still only a year old so I imagine there might be a way for me to boost the performance by adjusting a few settings here or there. I'm not a computer guy so I don't really know what info to give to you guys but if you can help and let me know, I'd be happy to get whatever info is needed. Thanks!

I'm all for the what's basically already been said. Vanilla DayZ, no backpack, bandage, few vehicles here and there. I also agree that killing is somewhat essential to the game, because I have learned that you can't really trust people. I'm not a KoS kind of guy, but I understand to an extent why some do it. (Killing fresh spawns on the shore is a different story, that's just a douche bag move). I'll be checking the server out tonight!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new clan to join. Last one just kind of...stopped playing DayZ haha. Anyways I'm just looking for a solid clan to play with, I like it to be orderly but as always having fun is the most important part. I'm 18, mature, eastern time zone and can be on almost every night. I've been playing DayZ for a long time now, but I must admit just because I have played for a while doesn't mean I'm the best player. Although 95% of the time I can hold my own. I'm much more of a lone wolf, scout/over watch type. I'm more comfortable on my own and it's easier for me to work. I could easily be a supply collector or one man take down missions, things like that. I like to use assault weapons preferably M4/anything silenced. (I'm not asking to be geared to the max first day, just thought I'd throw that out there). Thanks! I'm 18, east coast time, on almost everynight and in the afternoon (depends due to college throughout the day), weekends I'm usually always free. To be honest I'm much more of a lone wolf, scout kind of player. I prefer to work alone or in small stealth teams of 2-3. Nothing more I love than a good hunt of a bandit.

Why is my character so slow? I'm full sprinting and my friends are crouch running and they still go 15x faster! Help??

I was in the woods near Pusta, about 500m out. I set up a fire and cooked the recently killed cow meat I had. Once finished I put out the fire then I got knocked out? Now I have that little timer thing going and it's taking forever. It's been about 10 min and it's still barely gone down. I ALT-F4'ed, and logged back in but still the same. Help?

I was just playing on a Dark World DayZ - US server, and as I spawned in near the west factories of Electro I had a hatchet and some food/drink. Not knowing Electro to well I put the Ocean on my right and headed into the city. There weren't too many players on the sever, 9-10 at most. But I could hear shots constantly being fired in the city. Not having too much to lose I made my way into the fire station, and was pleasantly surprised to find it unlooted. I found myself an AK-74 Kobra instantly. Score. As I finished checking the other levels of the station, not finding much I headed back down into the main room and out the back door. I heard nothing but the sound of flies, and as I turned to my left I saw a body. Rushing to it, it was loaded. ALICE Pack, NVGs, Binos, some more food and drink, map, the basic essentials for DayZ survival. Then I found this…a Bizon PP- 19 SD. Now I have been playing for a few months now but have yet to come across this weapon. I snagged it off his body along with the STANAG mag and took off north into the woods. Then I found out that this weapon doesn't take STANAG mags, it takes its own Bizon mags. So my question is, was the switch off of my Kobra to the Bizon a good choice, and where do I find ammo for this weapon? And whoever's body that was at the base of the ladder at the Electro Fire Station, thank you. I didn't hide your body or anything like that and I didn't clean your inventory out. I hope you find your way back.

Other than the obvious Cherno/Electro run. What is your favorite loot route to hit up?

FINALLY. That was so awful. Didn't die though, other than my water flashing red (Drank a Pepsi) nothing major happend.

...I have no friends. Haha. Almost done! It's been an hour and eighteen minutes..

How can one hacker be so cruel? Haha. I'm just over halfway done, been about an hour as well. My water is now blinking, it's getting dark, I'm pretty well geared up. This sucks.

Was never shot. Water is now red though from waiting so freaking long. Should start blinking soon and a slow death will commence.. Damn. This sucks.

And now the server restarted. After 20 minutes I wasn't even halfway done. Now I need to start all over. FML. [EDIT] My guy isn't even knocked out anymore. He's laying down, just like he normally would. Just has that timer on the screen. Really need some help.

I didn't combat log, after I was knocked out for 10 min I then logged to see if it was a bug or something! Haha.
