    I my view would be good solution, if ArmA Staff will propose to DayZ team license of ArmA 3 engine as gift.

    Spawn Protection

    Could be..Newcomers and people, who spawn after death, could be spawn in temporary tents (camouflaged) and randomized locations in western forests. With some radius from players, who are already in those area. Might add more chances to spawn in game, without disruption spawning process.

    Perhaps this was preliminary work, to implement into game NPC-girlfriend? You know, what i mean..
  6. I guess, is some theoretical way to do this feature. Imagine, somewhere near Kamenka is an abandoned passenger train (which came from the West, where, probably, are several large cities.). Now, wagons (compartments) of this train would be good places to collective spawning. Logically, all these friends must spawn together (for the first time or after they all died in game) and in one server, where is free slots. We can it call even as separate Co-op mission. As we see, theoretical possibility is, only is needed technical achievement...

    Gyrocopters

    I guess it can be done in ArmA2.. And possibility of repairing it, seems make more sense than a helicopter. Though may be is some limits due just gameplay.

    Holster pistol

    Yep, this is very needed feature. It isn't simple decoration or so, but feature which add to gameplay many deep layers. Logically, milsim could exist without it. But this MOD is about something other. I guess that, after some new videos on Youtube, where some survivors/bandits will do some good shooting, pulling guns out of holsters, the ArmA2 may sell even more.   12. What if...the time comes to update the version of the game, then at map in all the servers will drop a nuclear megabomb..
  13. I'm not fan to add yet cars, trucks etc. What point is then of big map, if players think, that walking is wasting of time? Then in game isn't enough fear, when using civilian vehicles seems more secure. But if just the discussion... Then which vehicles seems suited to the specific surroundings? Imho, some old style bicycles in some villages. Such as is used by civvy in "Takistan". Also some very rare Mountain bicycles, findable in big cities. It doesn't mean that they can't break. Also would be very interesting to have in some village the old style motorcycle with sidecar. Relatively realistic vehicle. But how many it add to gameplay? What about arms, I too think, that too many modern military guns is undue in this game. But handguns are not prohibited for civilians by the vast majority of the previous Eastern bloc countries. (Ok, in pair countries they stay banned for civilians.) Therefore in cities they can be found.

    Fitting Time Logout Mechanic

    I like those ideas. Though i think, that logging out may be also without bedroll. If player does not have it, he need a little more time "to clean" its sleeping place (maybe ten seconds longer, than with bedroll). Now you push key of "go to bed"(logging out), yours senses slowly become fade...and.. At same time, imho, would be good to have feature of interruption of logging out, maybe by moving the mouse. What about D/Cers, i guess, intentional or not, but disconnecting should to give to your avatar non-fatal heart attack. He shouts one time, clutching at his heart, and fall to the ground. Now its opponents have some chances to ending their "hunting". Also he has some chance, if he will be lucky. That sad, but accidents with health happen, even in peacetime, and none of them are not insured. Logically, time to implement this will come after the game becoming in full stage, which can remove most of serverside crashing.

    Something for the woods

    I am in favor of adding some wolves. But not in all the woods of the map, but rather in the woods of the northern boundary of the map.

    Spawning locations?

    I doubt that would good to make it as player choice. Though some randomness would be interesting. As i wrote in one other topic - spawning in front on running zombie horde would be also cool feature.. ---------------------------------------------------------- gregor Zombie Killer RE: Read - Roaming Horde(s) Seems there is some valid points. I guess, some resurrecting of players might be take place in front of a another wave of spawned zombies .. And yet something. In my view would be cool, if in harbor of one larger city, would located pair Ocean liners, with many turists, who was arrived at festive week. Now you have good spot for spawning zombies and maybe interesting (but dangerous)place to explore and take some loot.

    Forests, Zeds and Player Choice

    Imo, forests don't need to be so lack of food etc. There would be mushrooms, some berrys, nuts etc. Not many, you need find them, something like mushrooms after good rain... Also you could be capable to make less visible campfire,( below ground level, with separate "tube" from the wind side, to give fresh air). This needs more time than simple campfire, and a little work with shovel or knife, but give more safety, need less bonfire material and allow better to hide the traces. Also would be good to make soup in mess-tin. It seems a good example for carrying of mess-tin. http://ah.milua.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/r8.jpg Throw in found mushrooms and other foods, herbs (good if in the villages in the gardens were to find something edible). Maybe later we see all these features more important in game. Yes, someone can say, why they come in game and don't want immediately socialise. But in my opinion, some people need time to look around and find its way. The more different peoples game can interest, the more variables can be in game's story. What about zombies in forests, i too support, that mostly they could migrate on roads and open terrain.
