I guess, would be good if in some library we could see series of Lenin's books (only backs). Also maybe some rare books from local authors? At least Pushkin's fairytales, with so old illustrations, that a copy protection don't be a problem.

7.62x39 don't fit good. 7.62x54, 5.45x39 and even 5.56x45 fit much better, imho.

As a some landmark in Cherno, this would be interesting. Not so sure about as working feature. But maybe if dev's invest more work into the Black Montains region, then... I'd would prefer Mosin carbine over SKS (in game). A lot more skills demanding game.

Imo, this wouldn't be good for survival game. I guess, that zeds should have the opportunity to run. Maybe not so fast as player in good health, but nevertheless. Though they need to be also a little "smarter", to catching humans, and they have to be able to surround a lone player. Adding the wind into game (and respectively direction of the smell ), could add more tactical gameplay and could force players to consider the wind direction, to try to bypass groups of zeds (who can slowly to go when they don't catch a smell of the human).

I see these suggestions as good suggestions, in overall. Really, zeds seem strange and weak if we consider that they already conquered almost whole world. And as I suggested somewhere, atleast they need to be capable to surround human, on whom they hunt. Also i have hear about changing system of spawning of zeds in SA. Not as pop-up from nowhere. IIRC, then they will can't spawn anywhere, and you can cleaning limited area from them (at least on some time). And some another guy, who it is nearby or close, can this too. Thats mean, you are somewhat interested, that people around you stay not only alive (as food for zeds in one well-known movie), but even as capable shoot of beings. As for going on long distances. I guess is bad restricting of playing as lone wolf, as phenomenon. People need to have opportunities to play as one survivor, with capability to outwit zeds, possibility to hide own traces etc. But together (with squad or with recently met stranger) this would be somewhat more convenient. Though more specific stamina solution i support. Also i suggest to make gasoline fuel more seldom find. And diesel fuel more frequently. That would make diesel trucks more useable than gasoline cars, but need more people to repair them(because some parts would be with heavier weight etc). OT.Ok, exist also diesel cars, but maybe game might avoid them. And then you have system, which prefer co-op gameplay, but allow also solo gaming. But i think, that bigger influence would have single-shared world. Yes, something such as in EVE Online, Project Entropia, WWIIOL and some other. If people stop jumping from the server on the server, and will be all in one world, they will approach more responsibly to the role of a survivor and to the own reputation (at least a little more). And consequently also to the own acts. For now... PS.Also i think, that not to pointing your gun on a stranger (if you think about oneself as friendly person) and lowering rifle or holster pistol, would also a little help. -
In my opinion, IF developers want to make SA more harder, they need to make it only "first person view" and implement long-term punishing after death - something 6 - 12 hours until possibility log into game. But unfortunately, seems it isn't possible.

It would be cool, if you can found in game much money and burn them...burn them all! To warming up. At least in game.

I liked mostly. But yes, imo, movement feels too fast. Also, i must point on zeds - they have to be more awful and predatory. That don't mean running speed, but ability to surround the victim. Also, give them a more spooky laugh. What they would occasionally utter. Something as here. Survivors must be scare sh*t out from himself, when these creatures pursuing them. The player must feel oneself as the person on whom hunts groups of sodomites, pedophiles and cannibals. And who are in real trouble. Imho. -
I think this is a reasonable proposal. Animals and zeds can move the body (or parts of it) around. Though i think, that this may be possible only, if nobody is around (ok, would be immersive, if you will see how zeds run around with parts of of recently killed survivors). I say one unpopular guess, which i have gained from some hard mode games. Such game needs really some sort of fear of death. At least shadow of it. And you are very limited with opportunities to do it. Some similar suggestions was given already earlier, though most of them was for Mod. Imo, Mod is so crippled and many features absolutely isn't fair and correct (stairs, zeds running through walls, lag etc), that this would have been big mix-up. But hopefully SA will be many better... I mean a death clock - after 'death' a person can again log in game after 12 hours. Logically, this is approximate number, maybe devs can have their . Just IMHO.

[SA] Usable Indoor Fireplaces

You mean a sauna? Yes, a good place to take cover there, to be warmed and cook food. Specially for a solitary Survivor. And overall i think that this is suitable suggestion for game which is focused on a survival. -
The Ultra Rare in DayZ (game not mod)

I think, that mil stuff need to be rarer than civilian ammo - 12 gauge shotshells and also widespread caliber of handguns to self-defense in Europe - 9x19 mm Para. Some MP40, which can be rare finds somewhere on an attic, a cellar or in a sauna, would be not bad. Especially because they accidentally use a 9x19 Para cartridges .. And it can good fit for Survivor, who prefer bolt-action rifle as primary gun. In game this rare gun would be as some surprise element. -
Download GPU-Z http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ And try to play, while it work on background. Maybe is something with overheating, voltage etc.

Re-Discovered First Person View

I've always preferred the first person view, where it has been technically possible. Do not even need mention the Battleground Europe', where it was the only option. Therefore I hope that at least in the SA servers names are certainly described - Survival server (1st person view only), and Fun server (all views what you can imagine). -
ARMA 3 DAYZ VS STANDALONE

I have Arma3 and i see its better performance and visual gains if comparing with previous Arma and OFp games. But in my view, all Arma' engines are suitable in most just for mil sim. DayZ' style game, imho, needs a engine, which give huge gameworld territory and many players on server. Is somewhere such engines? First choice might be Outerra engine. But it is yet raw and needs work to completion. Also its multiplayer opportunities isn't yet clear. http://www.outerra.com/wfeatures.html Next example might be WWIIOL engine (though it needs refreshing). You see how huge map it have and all players from whole world plays on one server (imagine this in DayZ). http://www.battlegroundeurope.com/index.php/about-the-game/game-info All this means, that theoretical possibilities exist.However, if the devs have started to search, purchase and converting its mod (i even don't talk about making from scratch) on some of this (or some other similar) interesting engine, then hmm.... That's why i think, that intermediary stage with Arma 2.5 engine seems reasonable choice by devs. And later, after succesful selling SA, they might have a better chance to make big true "apocalyptic world". -
Adding rivers in Arma is tricky, due engine limitations. But rivers and even small streams would be very appreciated. Maybe something like in fdf Podagorsk map . You can see there river, higher than sea level due damb and darker than sea water. Though may be problems also with AI.

Melee Weapon Quick Switch Help/Advice

I would like if on swapping from main gun to melee/knife, the main gun get in left hand and melee/knife/(maybe also pistol) in right hand. That mean that you can use melee almost immediately (maybe your main gun remain without ammo). If close danger is expired or removed, then you can almost in same time to put your knife in sheath and reload main gun. That even don't need animation (though would be good). And if you will, you can put your main gun on a shoulder by using yet one button. Parallel inputs isn't something new. -

IIRC, they aren't zombies, but zeds (the infected poor dudes). Therefore their dying only due headshots seems unreasonable. And insta lag make things even worse. But overall these suggestions seems good, though maybe with some technical difficulties.

I would have preferred a new name - Dayi. Also would good to emphasize theme of infection in SA even more. Though i understand, that name have its own value.

OK, then i suggest some Eastern Europe prison.... For example, the former prison in Tallinn, Estonia. Built in the 19th century as sea fortress, to defend the Empire gates at the mouth of the Gulf of Finland. Later used as military barracks. And almost whole 20th century it was used as prison. In my opinion, DayZ' problems is not graphic, but the world itself - size, number of players etc(which affect gameplay more). From 'graphics' i would mention not rendering of grass on long distance and maybe clunky animations. But overall it isn't bad even now, imho. DayZ SA needs in future to step up on next level - and that's level of new possibilities of Outerra engine, PikkoServer etc.. If someone thinks, that players can't play because of Ping in one server, then look at Battleground Europe (WWIIOL), where people from whole world plays an one server, which is in USA Dallas (or Fort Worth). With decent infantry game mechanics. That's why i understand, why devs of SA don't bother to take Arma 3 engine etc. Firstly we don't know, when A3 game will come out, and i suppose that building DayZ on the A3 engine would last till next year (at least). And second, currently they need speed, to not let yourself be left behind of many competitors. And grow flesh on the bones with SA. Then later they can already make game on absolutely new engine, suitable for this game, with absolutely new possibilities. -
Consensus on Vehicle Repairing

I really want, that in SA would be less vehicles. And especially less cars. And if there needed to be some vehicles, then it would be trucks. Diesel trucks.
