i would just say t his game is VERY boring without the threat of PVP. i dont like looking for PVP but the only time its fun is when someone comes up on you and you kill them. ive gotten NVGS as50 e.t.c (never had GPS) had vehicles e.t.c. but yeah...

The Game has an ERSB rating of M http://www.esrb.org/ratings/synopsis.jsp?Certificate=29163&searchkeyword=arma this suggests that people above the age of 17 should be playing this. http://www.esrb.org/ratings/ratings_guide.jsp so that might be why. But i would be on the server and see what reason it gives for the other being kicked, usually it will say it in global chat.

id agree im getting more bored now.. when i die next ill have some fun in cherno, wont bother going up north and tooling up.

Yeah i have 12k blood and im not in shock. is there any way to fix this? have a teammate shoot me then bandage/epi/transfuse/morphine? would prefer not to respawn lol

i actually like the hackers... because it makes me realise, even if you are super careful, someones going to kill the whole server with you on it so you may aswell live it up *@#!#. Drop the Supressed weapon and pick up the enfield, have chemlight/flare parties in cherno church and ill admit ill have more fun when im retoooling, because when i have top level gear solo its hard to run into people while looking for stuff..

im finding loot fine, and if you want to fight some Z's just run on a road through town playing music through direct with an enfield. Zombies are pretty dumb BUT they still can aggro from a far distance. But yes the threat isnt zombies its oh fuck that z is giving away my position, or oh fuck i have to shoot it but i dont want to drop weapon to get hatchet out and a player will hear me.

i think most these suggestions should be kept for DayZ2 or if dayZ becomes a full on seperate game MMO with an even larger map.. because remember its based on Arma2... this sounds more like WOW the way you are heading, would be interesting... but for now we should focus on smaller more achievable thigns such as the flashlight gun, you can get SD flashlights too (military flashlights), but players will still hear it only zombies wont

i had a bit of smoke with the m14 AIM when i had it in my posession, but i only need one shot anyway so it can smoke as much as it wants :P

i think that if you rob and murder enough to get 10,000 flashlights you should be able to make a gun that shoots flashlights and if a player has a flashlight it does 60k damage and they dont have a flashlight it gives them a flashlight then 5 seconds later does 120k damage because they are foolish to not have a flashlight.

yeah ive respawned 3 times. First i respawned as myself, then i respawned in the same spot again, and progress started to save then i got killed then i respawned as a 2 day old character but whenver i login i get knocked out for the DC punishment timer (12k blood no shock/broken anything, not requesting reset though because i have m107 and NVGS now lol). So Gl, just try respawning and yeah GL

Is this in the players list found with P? or do you have to go to the lobby yourself to do so?

HAHAHAHHA well well well. turns out they camped it for a while, enough time for me to make it up to the opposite hill with an enfield!! Killed one of them "nic", their other guy (the guy that killed me before, no tags but i was assuming it was them) fell back as i shot at him (damn firing speed). felt like I was playing for hours, i slowly surveyed the area before falling back and flanking around the left flank ~1.5-2km hike, checked every row of bushes. Heard AKM fire which sounded almost like bait for me to pop up, so i checked other vantage points from a distance and continued on. After a while longer and i had checked all surroundings (person i thought to be teammate was still in playerlist) i decided to quickly check the body. I swapped enfield for FNFAL and also picked up some tool (i forget). then of course i hid body because they shot first!! Anyway fell back incase i had been spotted and just before i was about to move out i saw another player making a beeline straight for the dead body. i hit him 3 times with the FNFAL and he was down for the count. Instead of going all the way around again i just made sure the hedge blocked visibility from any possible vantage point i hadnt walked through, made it to the other hill, checked it out again then quickly ran to the new body for a peek. M107, NVGS, other tools, grabbed some more morphine too. I was in too much of a rush to grab his secondary but i think it was just a m9 because of the m9 mags. In my haste i also forgot to open the backpack to check it -.- but i allready had pretty much all i could want... Didnt hide his body as i had no grudge. Left a marker on the map anyway fell back and then ran off about 7km and then Dced. Gruelius 1 - Nic, Franktehman, some poor random 0 Also if a players name has a play sign next to it does that mean in lobby? because the otehr person had that next to their name, hope i didnt waste time for nothing ahha

Yeah thats expected, just curious if there are others that think differently. I myself am not sure what id do... if i wasnt solo they would have been wiped out.. i guess without side chat its harder to organise these things, if they were within 80m of me its allready far too close.

the point of dayz is to not get TOOO attatched to the character anyway, i rolled back from M14 aim coyote Ghille all utils e.t.c. :( and your hat makes me dislike you extremely.

updating from faulty 1.7.2.2 to 1.7.2.3 with dayzupdater. hopefully its not going to b e that bad. couldnt login, got water as scene of where i was... then when i managed to get onto another server it showed my dead character from 2 days ago on it... fail!
