I feel like there is too many buildings and towns in chernarus. It will soon look like tokyo megapolis where the city never end for 30 kms long.

'Cause it allows the cpu to pre-send up to a 1000 frames for the gpu to calculate. This prevent any stutter when you play. But i checked and 4 frames ahead is enough not to have stutter. If your cpu and gpu always calculate like 25 or 50 frames ahead is takes a lot of power i guess.

You should set it to 4 imo. About your launch parameters you should set -exThreads=11

You don't use the "Medium" preset for graphics i hope?

There are several of those. One of them has a workable ladder actually

Go to the config file and set the resolution manually. Then put the config file in read only mode ftw

The character model is bigger in the SA than in the mod.

There's already the overheating system. Last time i went from NWAF to Berezino i had to stop and sit under a tree with my pants off for 10mins. This slowed my travel speed down alot.

For all those who wonder if they can run the game (just run it, i mean with low to very low graphics) im playing the game for the past 7 month with the following spec: MB : ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5QL Rev X.0x CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @3.16GHz MEM: 2X2GO Corsair at 400MHz (im on a WINXP32Bits version so i actually get only 3328Mo of ram) GPU: Amd Radeon HD4870 HDD: WDC SCSI 300Go Im playing on a 1680x1050 resolution The only thing new is my HDD whitch i bought to play arma, the rest of my hardware is 5 to 6 years old. I get between 20-50 fps depending on the server latency and my position on the map (fps drop sometimes to 10-15 when im in a big city with alot of players in it). Hello, I got just the same issue with my roomate. We both bought arma 2 on 2 different steam accounts buto we cant connect on the same serveur (the second one to connect gets a "you have been kicked from the game" message. Also, when one of us d/c while the other is playing, he'll get the other person's character when he reconnects. This is getting pretty annoying, not be able to play together is nothing compared to the frustration of never keeping a character after a d/c. I am no informatician, but this seem like an ip adress problem, of the fact that we are playing on the same connection. I tried to use a proxy on my computer, letting my roomate on our home ip adress but it hasn't worked. I must add that we have this problem only since build 90208 of the beta. If anyone has a solution it would be very nice to help us cuz we're a bit desperate.
