Hey everyone, As the title suggests I'm looking for a group of people to play with. I have played DayZ quite a lot but took a 2 month break so I'll probably need to refresh some of the mechanics in the game. I'm looking for the following: People that are 18+ in age, in the timezone around GMT up untill GMT+3 and (this is for me the most important part) a group that doesn't hesitate to shoot people, I don't mind hunting/pvping but I don't want to leave people alive either, the wellbeing of the group is always priority and if some random person even gets to close or even has a peashooter there shouldn't be any hesitation in shooting him. Wasn't my server, just my regular server. Was mailing with the admin about the issue and we tried everything. I even reinstalled the whole thing. eventually he mailed me saying he reverted his server to what he had BEFORE what is described in your topic and now all the people with the infinite black screen loading after lobby could go back in.

This actually caused the infinite loading screen on my regular server. The admin reverted back to his old settings and the people that couldn't join anymore can join now.

Was playing fine yesterday, want to play today on my regular server today and keep getting stuck at the loading screen PAST the lobby. Beta patch: 95417 DayZ: 1.7.2.4 Server has the same things installed. WHY can't I suddenly play anymore? There were NO updates whatsoever and I keep getting the infinite loading screen past the lobby...

It DOESN'T fix it...did it countless of times already. I get to lobby fine and I even see the waiting for character to create but after that, infinite loading and eventually (people that are in the server) can see: Shibby is losing connection.

Same here, was using Arma 2 FREE and OA before. Bought CO from steam now (new cd-key) and still having the SAME problem on the same servers. Played fine yesterday, couldn't play at all today...

He could be part of one aswell...

It doesn't matter that other servers work, I'm part of a clan, with a home server and me and 1 other clanmate (out of 15 regulars) get stuck on infinite loading. I don't want to play on others servers.

People KEEP saying it it OBVIOUSLY doesn't work mate. Did it like 20 times already...

You know some people have a regular server with a clan.... !

Same as Panda. Just did full reinstall, didn't work...

Because as I SAID before, it worked fine YESTERDAY and my REGULAR server uses 95417...

No I didn't have any issues yesterday, I did NOT change anything since then either. I'm running 95417/1.7.2.4 I can join SOME servers with those versions TODAY but I could join ALL of them yesterday. I can't join my regular anymore.

Already read those and tried it.

Also I can join another server with the SAME version just not my regular server...

It just had it's restart when I tried to connect at first. This has been 2 and a half hours ago by now though...

Sorry for double post but appearantly my buddies tell me the server says: Signature check timed out. What's up with that?

This server has about 20 players, nothing changed compared to yesterday and my loading times were LESS than a minute. Tried waiting 15 minutes and still nothing.

SVD with 8 mags M4 silenced with 10 mags NVG Coyote backpack Ghillie suit and some random stuff :)

Terrible shot with such an awesome/easy sniper rifle. USE your build in rangefinder !! This thing is so easy to use, sniped a guy without a spotter (just the build in rangefinder from SVD) from a little over 800 meters.

My ghillie...NVG but not as much since we found 5 over 2 crash sites :)

So, yesterday I started playing on a server (daytime only server) and made some nice progress. HOWEVER if I change servers I just spawn on a beach? If I then go back to the first server I have all my gear and am at the same place where I left my character. Any idea's?

I guess the server where I have most progress is private...this sucks :( Just found a DMR at a crashed heli :( Oh well, better play on the official one I guess.
