heya im fackstah i ran private servers for 28 thousand people at one point in time for fussion-networks also worked for acclaim on dekaron before they got bought out and closed and i also do 3d modeling and some c# scripting played alot of NAW mod for BF2 back in its hay day and did 8 hour battles a day for 6 months straight so i got tactics , i was voted to general of the PLA as well the last year NAW ran theyre battle tourneys anyways im here now and bought arma specificly for this mod however i plan on playing arma also when the dayz servers are down add me on steam fackster i am in EST time zone and looking for some people to buddy up with in game Cheers

if you hasve ever run a server you would know why lol , its because without restart the game server regularlry or the application it can cause severe lag depedning on the hardware the server is using . hence why game companys always have weekly maint etc to restart theyre servers back up db's fix small bugs

could adapt a similar system to that in deadisland with its melee weapons not the crafting but the way they deteriorate after being used a while and then being unusable as well a damage being reduced at the same time and your stamina being drained

so i jsut Played for 1 hour came across a town over run with zombies ... lots of them everywhere lol. So i played it super safe then saw a guy run into the woods with a pack of zombies after him , shortly after heard shots off in the distance where he ran to in the woods then saw him run back from the woods with no zombies after him. I guess thinking he was Rambo he then runs into the city Gets killed by 1 zombie so i shot the zombie with my pistol in prone from about 100 meters away he didnt even see or hear the shot and then i looted the dead guys body funny thing is the whole time i was shouting do you need help and he never responded maybe he didn't have a mic either way he didn't die in vain as his rations will do me well i dont just feel like i watched a episode of the walking dead i feel like i just lived an episode of the walking dead!

I think less than lethal weapons would also be a nice addition say you dont want to hurt someone but warn them to stay away like a paintball gun that shoots pepper balls that blinds the enemy for a minute or disorientate him Or perhaps bear /pepper spray / rubber bullets that maim the player rather then kill also or perhaps you are a bandit who would like to rob someone it would be very versatile either way
