    Someone was suggesting a totally black screen with only the timer visible whilst you are knocked out on reddit yesterday. I thought it was a great idea. You could do the occasionally flashes of vision with sound and distortion effects like ACE has in arma but even just the black screen would really add something I think. http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/1p1t87/suggestion_when_knocked_out/ Worth adding to the list for 8.1 imo.
  2. I let you know in game yesterday but I'll post for others AK107, M4SPR, Bizon, SVD, SVD_NSPU and a few L85 variants are our only additional weapons. Pretty much everything else besides a few really unbalanced overpowered guns are banned by vanilla dayzmod without client downloads. Any thing else you have seen in dayzero etc comes from an external weapon pack made by someone on armaholic.

    You're gonna need !="PVDZ_getTickTime" On line 2 of your publicvariable.txt Looks like the official filters haven't been updated yet

    Have to disagree with you there 100%. The loot was seriously broken in 1.8 and needed to be fixed things were spawning on every weaponholder. Its unfortunate that fix brought this new issue about but the changes definitely needed to be made. I agree it is a problem that needs to be fixed ASAP though, we've gone from 30+ players at peak times to less than 5 with this update. With regards to being able to change the loot bias, you can do that now always have been able to. Also if you read the patch notes for 1.8.1 they are putting options in the init.sqf for people less comfortable with the code to be able to modify it easily. The bias at 67% to me is perfect or even a little high (when its actually working correctly).

    Some people have been saying that the loot problem appears to be working like this. If a player is the first person into the server after a restart then loot will spawn there. However if anyone else later visits that area no loot will spawn at all until there is a server restart. It's not the bias that's the issue it's the building lock I think. I'm also pretty sure it's only happening when there are multiple players involved. We've had a single player online for a few hours and he didn't report any loot spawn problems. Server FPS is 100% not the issue.

    Is there going to be a 8.0.3 release with a fix for the lootspawn building locks or do we need to wait for 8.1? This patch has been very unpopular because of the loot spawn problems and I'd like to get them fixed asap

    It worked fine before 1.7.7.1, they're too fun to remove completely (we don't spawn more than 2 helis) but I've disabled them for now :(

    Ok thanks I'll see what I can find tonight once I finish this bloody db migration. I would love to get that zombie agro on planes fix make it into the next hotfix too it really is a game breaker when someone is circling a town with a plane and you are below, the fps drops it brings are insane.

    Of course I have all my log files etc, here's some of the FPS lines from my RPT 12:51:36 "DEBUG FPS : 48.7805"12:57:38 "DEBUG FPS : 50.3145"13:00:39 "DEBUG FPS : 50" If you want some client logs etc I can do some proper testing tonight when I am not at work instead of passing on reports from others who are online. I moved my db from reality to official hive yesterday and am still in the process of migrating my object_data table thanks for the advice its good to have all those old Reality bugs gone :D

    Just spectated a guy run into a firestation, he ran past 3 weapon holders containing a pistol and ammo and picked up some food. First thing he does is leaves the firestation and types into chat "WTF ADMIN THERE'S NO LOOT AT ALL IN THIS PATCH". Already becoming a recurring theme with people not used to a working bias and already pissing me off royally. I am really happy to see the loot spawn problems from 1.8 sorted, for me the game feels better than ever the only suggestion I have left is to add a few more SMG's to the military table like the bizon, and remove the M14 and CCO weapons, then move Camp (Stary) to have its own loot table, that is better than military but not as good as Barracks. It gets people off the coast and stops them spending all night in Elektro/Cherno. It would also stop me having to cram my own loot table into the mission file each patch :)
