Hi Stephen , What are the rest of your computer components? sorry if I missed it Arma can be terribly CPU intensive (anything under a quadcore 3.2ghz seem to suffer) it seems to favour the intel CPU's better as well. Try disabling Post Processing, personally I dont like the effects anyway. Set HDR on Normal everything else on High Disable AA and see how you go.

Hi Stefan, Try Disabling Post Proccessing , and reduce AA Match 3d resolution to Screen resolution . (if your native screen res is above 1920x1200 say 2550x1440 that will lower the FPS ) Draw distance has a large impact , although with Dayz I belive it is fixed server side. Check your ping.
