Spam aside, Punkbuster is a pile of crap. And Battlefield have the same problems that Dayz has. I can't play it because my games are in Steam and it uses Direct3D hook, even if it's disabled and I can't play ANY of the Punkbuster enabled games unless I buy non-Steam versions. Yet, hackers can play fine since they just pick up a cheap copy or a new key and install standalone versions. And they were raping on the servers I was getting kicked from because I have a game platform that uses an in-game overlay. Punkbuster is a pile of shit. And isn't any better than Battleye. VAC. Hands down. I've seen a LOT of players banned by VAC. I've seen 1 player banned by Punkbuster. I've seen Battleye ban no-one. VAC has the lowest false-positive count of any anti-cheat system and actually bans people.

I like this idea. Not a fan of berries. Much bigger fan of shooting and eating cows and sheep. Deer need to be in this game. Venison needs to add 20% chance of immortality. It's THAT good.

Can we move this to spam?

Log 'n' play something else for a couple hours. We really need server plugins that stop teleports. It's not hard to have a plugin log movements over the last couple secs and "tie" the players to within a certain range of that last spot.

Don't need to do anything about that. The server can just leave the character there for 5-30 secs. If they die, it tells the Hive they died. They log back in without their shit, regardless. Nothing the player can do to avoid it. Can't hack, can't pull ethernet cable, can't get away, can't cheat, can't avoid getting killed if they're stupid enough to get killed. Server doesn't need players packets to keep them there for 30 secs. Solved.

It's not fair. It's called tough shit? Either log in a safe place or die. Will fix the ALT-F4GS overnight. Way I see it, the only people who aren't FOR this idea are people with bad internet connections and ALT-F4GS.

Re: #184 Yup, it's what the pricks do, Gear up 'n' hit the coast. There's a good few who camp the points leading up to the Airfield and the Airfield itself in case someone happens by for an easy kill. Should probably steer clear of those if you're new. Although it makes sense, while I agree it's the 'strong' picking on the 'weak', predators will always work their way towards prey, and so it is with us if we're hunting. Most of us won't just wait until they come to us, we'll normally go looking for them.

I got a couple shit hot weapons from deer huts in the past. M4A1 Aimpoint with several STANAG magazines.

For fuck sake Racaza works for Homeland Security, is a double Grand Master at United States Practical Shooting Association, is using his own Razorcat Racing Gun designed just for him, over a course he's probably ran several times. He is not a zombie apocalypse survivor, estranged to firearms, in unfamiliar wilderness, starving, dehydrating and trying to not get killed by a zombie or another human being. He's firing a custom gun, in a controlled, almost danger-free environment. I'd be insta-pwning targets too while moving.

Exploring. Killing zombies. Picking up ammo. Shooting cows. Refilling my canteen. Once all zombies are dead, I move on. I'm their fucking apocalypse.

Most high calibre firearms go straight through cinderblocks. AS50 is no exception and would leave holes the size of golf balls in the wall. Behind your corpse. Could be hacks, could be a very good shot. The human mind is VERY good at spacial relations if you practice it. I'm a pretty decent wallbanger and can often severely harm or kill someone through trees and some walls anticipating where they're running to. It's hard to say. I've been kicked for that, even though I don't hack and I killed a butthurt admin.
