Does ARMA II run on it's own? Post hardware specs. Reset Dayz default configs and test. Standalone ARMA II or Steam version?

Come on man, it's time you went outside and hit the local park or open air pub with a book for a couple of hours. Even I can tell that. I'm sure Rocket is busy with something and compared to most mods at least him and any other code monkeys there are involved. There are many mods that don't get anywhere the number of updates that Dayz does, not anywhere the kind of involvement that Dayz gets from it's creator. I think we should be thanking him for creating something f****** amazing, enjoyable, fun, random and buggy as this, not complaining because you're not being babysat updates.

It's possible he just has a life. I'd look in to that yourself.

You spend a lot of time going to Stary and NW AF and you're not going to have to worry about your 'friend' shooting you for your stuff, the bandits there will do it for you. Best to look for a group. 4-6 people is a good sized group as you can split in to 2 groups of 3 or 3 groups of 2 and coordinate ambushes and distractions.

I still think you should be able to get meat from people you kill. :(

Women still can't wear them (ITS NOT FOR GIRLS) and they don't drop any more since the bug where you can lose all your equipment afaik.

Servers can desync, but that's probably not what you're talking about. I once ran about 3.5km only to teleport BACK to where I was before I logged. At night. At a deer stand, surrounded by Zeds. :rolleyes:

They call the Lee Enfield the "dinner bell" for a reason. I'd personal say Winchester for dealing with undead every time, but that's because I seem to find Winchester ammo anywhere I turn. I'm sure ammo availability and accessibility dictates preferred method for dealing with the dribbler masses. I'm sure someone's going to say axe at some point.
