Follow the directions above. If you have a guilie suit, your pretty much good to go. but if not, then you better find a hacker friend/camp that has one. This is confirmed to work though for any of you with doubts.

omg stfu with these threads. im sick of all you cry babies making threads saying your leaving the game. i got news for you guys, no one gives a FUCK. Go ahead and stop playing because of hackers, but they are in every game on pc so get used to it.

I have a 6950 aswell and it should tear this game a new asshole, however with bugs and optimizaton issues it sucks balls. just gotta wait for them to smooth everything out server side.

idk, its strange. it was getting horrible fps when i first downloaded dayz until i did the "ramdisc fix" then i was getting solid 60 fps in wilderness and like 30 in cities. last night it was just horrible on every server...

your serious about windows media play causing fps drop in dayz? i dont really see how that would cause issues.

i agree with above. i have a quad core amd atholon II 2.8ghz, 16gb ram, ati 6950. in wilderness get around 45-50 fps but in cities or towns i get like 15-25...

i have a 6950 and get like 24-28 fps in city...

RAMDISK FIX WORKS. now getting 30-60 fps with 45 being the average :). this should be a sticky! Guys i highly suggest doing the ramdisk fix if you have bad fps. BTW i have a gaming pc (ati 6950, amd quadcore, 8gb ram etc etc.) so this is a legit fix! thanks alot!!!!
