Okay guys, just ran into a hacker the other day and reported it, but here's another one. Take a seat, this is good if for nothing else than an exiting read. Too bad the other side of the situation was made up of hackers. Server: DayZ - US346 (1.7.2.3/95208) (Veteran|3D:ON|CH:ON) dayzmod.com - ANZ NZ AUS Time: around 00:00-00:10 PST, don't know server time but it was day. Location: Across Chernogorsk, they were going up and down the southern coast, and the final engagement happened at the back of Cherno, on the train tracks, near the military tents. Us: 1: ap0calypse 2: MrAstartes7 3: Thegreenishcrab Them: 1: Crran Hunter-Jongsma 2: [RED] Danny 3: one who's name I did not catch, though it was likely the only other [RED] member on the server, [RED] Emil. tl;dr for the reading-impaired: found unobtainable gear on a group of guys flying around in a helicopter. I suggest you read anyways, 'cause it's a fun read if nothing else. DESCRIPTION [PRECURSOR]: I (ap0calypse) was running about an hour before this event without any weapons in the Balota airfield and came upon them in a truck (I know it was them from one of the guy's Mk48mod0 and Ghillie Suit.) Anyways, he killed me after I tried to steal their truck that they rolled in with (I was already hearing the Heli before this though) (also funny to note is that they killed one of their own buddies after he jumped out of the car I stole). After a fresh spawn in Prigorodky, I met up with MrAstartes7 and thegreenishcrab came upon a discovery. Thegreenishcrab happened to come upon a fully functional truck in Cherno (though in retrospect, it could've been hacked). Anyways, we found two dead guys in the barn next near the power station above Cherno, found 2 DMRs on them, headed up to Stary Sobor and staked that out, found nothing good (just an AKM and a few DMR mags). From there, we headed to the Balota airfield again, where I came under attack (didn't die though) from a sniper and we parked the car in the closest hangar to the control tower. Upon seeing the Helicopter make another pass, we decided to leave and head towards Elektro. DESCRIPTION [THE JUICY PART]: After a short time on the road, (headed through Cherno to get to Elektro, not very smart at all but not the point), we came across the chopper again, passing us before we realized it was coming around to try and take us out. What ensued was probably the coolest and best chase/engagement I've ever been in in DayZ, but that's beside the point. They chased us through Cherno, shooting at us with the gun on the heli, though not doing any damage, and our chase ended after we flipped our car on the train tracks. I got out first, and before they landed, shot the guy (with the ghillie suit and the Mk48) twice before he got out with my DMR, and he died (this was Crran). I ran around the back and flanked the driver who I saw get out right before I got a shot, and shot him and killed him. This one was likely Danny, though all I know for sure is that I saw his [RED] tag. My teammates tell me they killed another one in a Ghillie suit, though I did not myself see him, and that is where they say they found the L85A2. Upon clearing them out, I ran up to the Ghillie suited body, intent on taking the Mk48, and when I grabbed his coyote pack and looked in it, saw a G36 and instantly realized they were hacking. MrAstartes7 found an L85A2 TWS (Thermal and Night vision scope), and it reaffirmed my hypothesis. Also sketchy was the Ghillie-suited character had his civilian clothes on him, pointing to the idea that he recently got it in a patch that I don't think it is gettable in. Shortly after, about 15 seconds, all three of us died instantly, the helicoptor blew up, and it was either hacks (as much as I hate screaming HAX) or some person behind who must've had an M136. I spied -31k blood on myself, but my teammates did not see theirs. Cheers, hope you guys had a good laugh, hope these guys get banned, but despite that, well played hackers, that was the most exciting part of my DayZ career so far. tl;dr is above, and yes, I like parenthesis, and hopefully anyone else on at the time can back up what I'm saying (maybe one of the guys in Cherno we drove past) even if it's just with the "xxxxxx" is killed, or the server admin can check the logs.

Happened to a group of us as well, we were down at Prigorodky and it happened around 3-5 minutes before your time stated.

Time: 22:37 PST, 05:37 GMT Server: US 38 Texas (formerly TX8) Location: Lake next to Koptyo (above Prigorodky) Rolling through an area, heard a few explosions, my buddies and I thought it was a couple people with M203's or something of the like. We approached where we thought we heard it slowly, and as we were extremely close to the lake, carpetbombing happened, killing two of us (names Chase and apocalypse) and wounding the other two (names Luna and Chubbs70000000) Restart happened soon afterwards.
