Hey guys. I'm glad this is still appreciated. Spread the love! I too would love to make a DayZ animation series. Unfortunately right now I can't justify the amount of time that would have to be invested without knowing how popular it would be. Risky business! Perhaps by the summer I will have enough energy again to produce a follow up that has a bit more structure and meaning.

I thought I'd just give you a heads up that I'm working on a new live-action animation featuring DayZ survivors. It turns out various game characters have escaped the virtual world but have kept their approximate screen size as they battle their way through my kitchen...

Ha! Cool photos. Really enjoyed looking through them. Nice tones, similar to the game. You should make a photo comic out of them, would be easy to add speech bubbles and put them in a certain order.

I made a short DayZ animation a while back, including an animated rendition of the DayZ logo. ( )It includes a hand-painted watercolour backdrop, digitally animated shuffling zombie, and various grain, distortion, colour, blurring and time remapping effects. I've decided to upload the logo clip, unedited, for anyone to use. I've also put it on youtube under a creative commons licence, so you can edit it directly on Youtube. So if you're looking for an atmospheric intro or outro to your DayZ videos, give this a download! The clip is designed to be chopped up and recut. The last 3 seconds or so works well for a quick sting. There are also close-ups of the zombie that would work well as transitions etc. Thanks, and enjoy! Cheers guys. I was hoping to make it longer, but the 1 million player mark really jumped up on me! It's all the little animation tweaks and effects that take hours, surprisingly the watercolour backgrounds were super quick! (they tend to look better if you just splash it on). You could say that animation is my profession, but I rarely get the chance to indulge in something as loose as this. Right now I'm producing text graphics for a certain Prof. Brian Cox. Do you think he'll mind if added a subtle zombie in the background?

Thanks buddy, that's all I was after. I was suspecting it was probably in a different folder somewhere, but alas, why not ask the community before I dig 'em all up? In terms of copyright, I will be using BI's Youtube partnership form to file the video. Any other potential infringement will be dealt with through youtube, as per. Hello there peeps. I'm in desperate need of the flare sound effects from DayZ as they will be a fundamental part of my almost finished film! I've managed to rip most other sounds from the addon PBO, just can't seem to find the flare sounds. Whoever helps me or just sends me the audio files - I'll make you a cool animated gif DayZ avatar in return. Cheers guize!
