Short answer...hell no! Long answer: If this were the case, then the only balanced sniper would be a suppressed Mk. 12 SPR, limiting it to basically the same damage as the M16. Any higher damage and it becomes too easy for those doing the sniping IMO

I don't quite see the point as there's an M24 already there. For all the difference between the M24 and M40A3 in real life, you'd only get a re-skin in game. On the flip side of this, I'd like to see some of the US Army weapons replaced with USMC weapons (if anyone's actually played the ARMA 2 campaign, they'd understand what I mean) Personally, I'd like to see some of the Russian army weapons like PKP and AK-103 weapons ported over from ARMA 2 as well as some more civvie and post WW2 weapons added (Post Nazi Germany KAR-98K anyone?[advantage over the lee being that it fires a slightly bigger round and is shorter])

Yup, when up to the green mountain radio tower and had this happening to me. The epicentre of it seemed to be somewhere at the base of the tower. -

Yeah I play at night, because I get home from work at 5, I have a small slot of daytime, then I spend the rest of the time at night. To counter this I mess with my brightness and gamma to give me limited visability. Personally, I love the night time, because sneaking around towns is easier , and theres more of an atmosphere when you see other players flares lighting up towns that you're going in to. In all, I like it the way it is. -
I like the idea, but oil barrels are pretty heavy with nothing in them, filled with sand or water would make them pretty much immobile.

Some very good suggestions for special zombies. I addition to this, I can think of one more; a 'Hunter' zombie that carries survival gear (hunting knife, map, compass, CZ/ Enfield ammo, etc) They should spawn near dear stands.

Making Small Towns Worth It-Pharmacies

I'd like to see something like a moderate sized police station or two placed in the world (School/ office building with a car park and walls around the sides) with mediocre military yeild. And possibly the rare gun shed/ locker at houses out in the middle of nowhere. It gives more reason for stuff like M16A2s, CZs and Enfields to spawn with lots of ammo in these locations, although they should probably be mid-map. This would probably be a good opportunity to add a less powerful scoped weapon like a Ruger 10/22 as a police rifle. -
Realistic weapon drops and amounts! Hunting rifles should be more common than AKs!

I think they mean that a soldier zombie (for example) with a rifle slung across their back, would probably keep said rifle until they get killed by a player. Landing the player with a shiny. -
IMO I'm sseing too many modern military weapons in that list. I'd like to see more hunting grade weapons, and cold war era weapons. AS someone suggested before, an SKS that takes AKM mags would be a good addition; as would some of the modern Russian military weapons already in game, like the AK-103 and the PKP. USMC weapons should be kept low and rare. Another problem(?) with adding more weapons is that it become increasingly difficult to get ammo other weapons (I no sure though, I quite like this game being as unforgiving as possible)

Good idea! Although I think for the sake of coding, it'll probably be better if one swing is used whether you his human, animal or wood. These sharpening stones could facilitate some crazier finds in the game (do I hear finding swords or axes at the castles?) -

I like the idea of the fishing rod, but persnally I think there should only be one type of trap instead of over complicating it with different types. Other wise its a great idea! -
I thought about this too. Means you could also collect more misc crap like colour pens. Although the inventory system might need reworking for this.

Why are people against the idea of NPC guards?

I'm on the fence about this one. I do like the idea of having NPCs and 'safe-zones' but surely this just means the murders happen to the mid level players, attempting to get up to airfield, while the vets with their high quality gear are heading down south to skirmish the 'safe-zone'. And how do you regulate which players the AI should shoot. I have a few murders to my name, but most were in self defence and against trigger happy Enfield users. (On the flip side of this, I personally wouldn't feel the need to head for this safety for the reason I've pointed out, unless there was something of use like a trading post there.) Dunno really, thats just my 2p -
I found an AS-50 TWS which apparently got patched out for being too good :S
