Alright, look, I know this is a long shot and I don't even know if it's possible but me and a buddy are in need of help. A couple of hours ago I posted a new thread about a hacker on SE 5 that teleported all players on the server to a distant island 15+ km off shore. We logged in just now and we're stuck there. We can't swim, we'll freeze to death. We can't kill ourselves, since respawn no longer works and we can't comitt suicide in any quick way. So what I'm asking for is, can any administrator or developer revert characters, or relocate them if we state our names and our player ID's? Edit: Never mind, grenade solved our issue.

Server this happened on: SE 5, hosted by Pandemic Legion. Time that it happened including your timezone: 15:44, GMT+2 What happened during the incident: I just started looting my old body south of Novy Sobor, when me, my friend (who were at my old body, and as it happends a helicrash as well) and the rest of the population on the server got teleported to the same tiny island in the middle of the ocean. That's when we both shouted in skype "Hacker, hacker, disconnect from the server", which we did and here I am reporting the hax.

M24 camo. Since SVD camo is available in DayZ, the M24 camo should be there too.

I can confirm that graphic glitches/artifacts still remain. Last night I spent a couple of hours in DayZ and me and my group decided to raid NW airfield. Once there, the artifacts started appearing as they did in earlier version. We are three guys in the group, one of them did not experience any glitches what so ever. Just me and the third guy who encountered problems. The glitches seem to originate from firestation and the ATC. I tried to get a screenshot of it but all I get on the screenshot is my desktop, it doesn't pick up ArmA2/DayZ so unfortunately I can not provide a screenshot for you. However, what I can tell you is that once I saw the artifacts appear again I decided to fiddle with my graphics settings, and lowering my HDR from the highest to "Normal" seems to have a positive affect on these artifacts. While it doesn't remove them completely, it minimizes them and makes it more playable. Whether this was a coincidence or not, I don't know.

And so, you say this mod is in beta and insist of hammering it into the peoples heads. All you're doing is making yourself look like a fool. It doesn't matter what stage the mod is in, alpha, beta, it doesn't matter. If it were in beta and people complained about somthing, others would reply "It's beta", as if that would be better than the current standard answer "It's alpha". What's your point with this thread? This mod is in fact in alpha stage. Late alpha stage, imho. Not beta, that's for damn sure.

Hm. It says in the screenshot "(BattlEye: Banned)". Can you successfully connect to any other server? If you're getting this message on every server you try to connect to, it's a global ban by BattlEye which means you are a super 1337 h4xx0r and deserve the ban, right?

Why complain about 3rd person when it's an option everybody has to use at their own free will? If you play on a server where 3rd person is enabled and you do not use it, then you're then one making it a disadvantage to yourself, and at the same time you lose the right to bitch about it. That's how simple it is really. Besides, yes, the players that use 3rd person can see over walls, around corners yadayadyadaydada, but you have to remember that this is the only thing you can do - you can only see, you can only watch, you can't fire at the guy you're looking at because there's a fockin wall in the way, which leads to the point - you got to make yourself visible to this person to be able to shoot at him and if he doesn't see you at that moment, it's probably because the guy wasn't cautious enough when he left the building in the first place.

What this flush command does is clearing the virtual memory. It can provide an fps boost (major one in some cases), but I have never heard of this command making graphical glitches/artifacts dissappear. However, using this command is safe from what I can tell you - it's built in the game and for everyone to use whenever they need to do it, it doesn't do anything that is illegal or against any rules that DayZ may have. I will try it later today and see if it solves the graphical artifacts.

Yea, I just restarted OA/DayZ and I got in to my "home" without any hassle. Will check the scripts.txt if it occurs again and a normal restart doesn't solve the issue. Thanks!

I just woke up, tried to log on to my "home server" and the message I'm getting is "You were kicked off the game (BattlEye: Script Restriction #55). Not sure why this happends, but I am connecting it to the stuff that happened on an american server last night. Me and a couple of friends were playing as usual when Battleye spammed "Restriction detected" or something of the sort. Literally spammed the shit out every player on this server and it didn't take long for the server to actually crash, and it took em about 2 restarts before the spam stopped and you could play there again. I do believe it's false positives, but is there anything you can do about it?

Yep, there's a dude in an A10 continuously flying in circles over Chernogorsk as I write this. Can the admin of this server check this out? I think it said it was hosted by faindizzle, or something of the sort.

Yes, because in a real zombie apocalypse, individuals would only set up 1 tent and if they set up more, they will be struck by God and instantly killed. Should tents be removed from the game entirely or some useless thing like "1 tent/individual", people would start using vehicles as storage more than they do at the moment. What will happen then? You will start complaining about that. "Uuuuh, yea they got 1 tent filled with gear and 2 urals filled with stuff too, its unfair advantages, the vehicles needs to be removed!" This whole thing is ridicilous, where does it end? Really?

Wiping tent cities will not do shit. 2 days after the wipe, new tent cities have been constructed. New bases have been made. Tents will prevail. They rule us all.

You'll need a whole lot of patience in this game, just fyi. :P

Logged out a few hours ago at Stary Sobor. Updated 20 minutes ago. Managed to log on to a server just now. Fresh. On the beach. I do not approve. :P

^Topic. I updated to the latest beta patch and now I can't join any servers. Red crosses everwhere, connecting failed on every server. I thought these patches were backwards compatible. Anyone else got this problem? If so, anyone knows how to revert to an earlier beta patch without reinstalling the entire game?

I know what the beta installer warns you about, but this is Windows - there's always ways around things, you just need to know what and how to do it, hence my question.

We got a guy driving around a Chilka in Elektro right now, right as I'm writing this. I got a friend in Elektro following this Chilka, he's not sitting in it as we both know it's a result of a cheat, he's running behind it and will keep track on him for as long as it's possible and maybe even get a name. Can some admin check this out and do something about it? Thank you. Edit: He also heard a helicopter in Elektro shortly after he saw the Chilka. Just now he told me that he found a crashed heli, a blackhawk which iirc isn't legit either.
