He would have gotten banned. You won't get banned for using spawned in items that are in Dayz. What gets you banned, is using an item that is on the "black-list." Things that are not in the Dayz mod.

With the rampant hacking, I have decided to move on to a game without hacking. It is also more entertaining!

Why do people worry about alt+f4'ers and aborters and when it comes to hackers, they say "deal with it"? Are there really this many hacker supports on these forums? If you support hacking and truly claim not to do it, you should be ashamed.

True. This does need to be done. Though their name isn't always obtainable to report to the admin. I have done some research into Batteye, and see that it isn't as good as some other anti-cheats, say Punkbuster. Perhaps that is a start. Make the switch to something more stable/thorough.

For the same reason Rocket said if people talk about it enough and bring it up, it will actually motivate him to so something about it. Things aren't fixed for the same reason he said he didn't want/like to fix bugs, it doesn't make headlines.

So I decided to log into US 882 today, because it had been updated and to see if the lag was gone. I get in and head west from Elektro to Cherno. As I get to the first barn in Cherno I hear some chopping sound. I know off that bat it is a Helicopter and I peak outside. Sure enough there it is in the sky, heading west past Cherno, and towards Balota. I run to the train tracks heading into Cherno and hear it again. I see the chopper and raise the sights on my M1911 to get a better view. I decided not to risk a shot at that range, as it appeared to be heading away from me. Until... I see it getting bigger, as I realize it is coming at me, I wait till it is large enough, then begin trying to land a few accurate shots. It must have been about to blow up, because it slows down and comes in like it is trying to land. It comes in close enough that I get my last two shots through the cockpit. The nose of the chopper began to tilt down, then crash and explode, yielding two death messages. I went to check the helicopter and it only had the option to save, but after a bit it started to blow up. Then I noticed it was like the explosions caught the whole hills and grass on fire. It was a massive wall of fire, which I thought was normal after a helicopter crash/explosion. After aborting out, (So I could alt+tab and figure out how to take a screen shot of it) I tabbed back in, and seen a wall of text with at least 25 people who all died at once. Then people in chat going off. Even the Admin saying, "WTF was that!?" Apparently the server was nuked, and I believe the drivers of the helicopter were the culprits! TL;DR - I crashed a Heli with a 1911 and while aborted out, I tabbed back in to see a wall of text with 25+ all killed at once. (Server Nuke) With Admin saying in chat "wtf was that" lol Furthermore, I've been on that server a lot, and with the reaction of the Admin + taking the server down after the nuke, I truly believe it wasn't the Admin. I couldn't get the screen shot, I had to leave and try and put the game into windowed mode. When coming back in, the server message lead me to believe the entire server had been hacked. Instead of saying Hosted by 420 Clan, it said, Server WTF, enjoy your death, hosted by: Assholes. So yeah, not going to risk logging into that shit storm! lmfao

I can understand that it is easier to deal with a problem like aborting, but why so much hacker love? I think a lot don't want to lose their free AS50's they get after each death. lmao

Anyway, before people come in and start questioning the story, the real point is the server nuker. Believe my story or not, I just added it because it was a wild turn of events. The real issue is the hacker that nuked the server. You can get the Admin of US 882 (420 Clan) in here if you need proof of the nuke.

Why would waste my time typing that, when I could be in game with friends? Fuck no! Call it whatever you want, I got no murder for it, no bandit kill, but I was the ONLY one around it, and laid 7 shots into it and down it came. Believe me or not. This game needs a easier way to screen shot. I wish it hadn't got nuked/hacked or I would have got the screen shots of it. Like I told my friends, I would have paid 100$ to have had that fraps'ed. Believe me or not, but it happened, I would not waste the time to post a lie, no way what so ever. [Edit]: Since I never got a kill, it leads me to believe it was just badly beaten, any more damage and it was going to crash. I just put the straw on the camels back, so to say.

I wonder why when you google about a bug about Dayz, most of the time it links to this site, but says file not found. Other than that, I just want more server security in this game. Other than that, I like Dayz as it is and is going via 1.7.2.4. Things out of Rocket's hands that I would like to see is server admin's getting more bandwidth for their servers. I like one server, but it lags, so I have to play on another that loads super fast and has no lag. Not a huge issue, but I would like people to understand that you need a good size amount of bandwidth to run a server smoothly.

Hacking is rampant in this game now. Battleye is little to no help at all. Today my friends and I were killed by a sniper in a guile suit that was porting around, killing us at point blank range. The server this happened on was US 105. I confronted the guy (don't remember his full name) but he promptly logged off the server after I spoke up. Basically what I want to know is, does anyone have a good EST server that they police well? Every server that I have been on so far has had a deadbeat Admin, that does nothing about hacking, or hacks themselves. Please Help. I love Dayz and I do not want to see it go to the corrupt. I want to play with skill and not "I win" modifications. I want a server with REAL gamers and not childish "I need to hack to experience a kill" players. I wait the flames from all the Dayz "Modifiers."

Yet another hacker on US 385... When will something be done? Battleye is garbage, they need to realize it. Kids need to learn to play legit and build some kind of skill.
