DAYZ is a Game about surviving in a Zombie-Scenario. The Whole Weapon Performance Discussion is basicly a PVP aspect. If ya want Weapons to "BE" realistic , most of them would be one-hitters. The Question is , HOW MUCH REALISM CAN A GAME HANDLE , TO BE STILL ENJOYABLE ?! ... In my Opinion it should be harder to kill People to ensure a pleasent gaming experience, and not end up in a big noobish camp fest ! ps: Zombies (pve targets) should only be "dead" after a headshot "killed" them , if not ....they just get up after some seconds ^^

Since playing around a lot with the Arma-Editor, i see no need to keep the OP AM-Rifles since there are enough alternatives (M110, Dragunovs, MK12 SPR...) -
Choppers are very easy to take down and hard to hide. Nothing "OP" in my oppinion so far.

Although i really want this Bandit skin , i can understand this. Almost everyone will Farm other Players (camping the coast for example) just to get access to this skin, which wouldnt help the Project "Dayz" at all. -

What is so innovative about dayz annyways ? In my opinion its just a sand-box coop shooter, the current zombies are irrelevant because they only appear in cities/villages and the survival is just gathering some items from time to time(easy to master), nothing that hasnt been there before. So to conclude ..yes it is just another (outdated?!) shooter-pvp mod. ps: with a realistic and graphic-engine ( terrain fading out @ 200m ..lolz) a solid zombie ai and some sort of "levling/perk/class" system it would be pretty awesome. -

I find weapons pretty quick when checking the small villages and deer stands since you have about 1 hour before you have to to drink/eat.Try to avoid the big towns and coast line if possible. -

You cannot prevent deathmatching ..that easy. The only way to do this , is to enable pvp or pve mode on servers/or by the player itself (flagging). -

Like that Idea Why: its time to put more "group options" in dayz to improve cooperative gaming, in my oppion anything that helps to achieve this is positive.

Hi, wouldn't it be good to have the opportunity to group up with people like in "singleplayer" of Arma2. To group up just be in 10m Range of another Player and interact with him (Dropdownmenu -> Invite Player XYZ) Everybody who is in this group has a green marker hovering over his character (similar to the map marker perhaps) to avoid friendly fire kills and easy identify group members. In addition a group-status-window in the UI (like in SP, with portaits , healthbars) would also be helpfull. Discuss ?!

Introducing a 1-Hit Sneak Attack (from behind only) with Hatchet or a Knife would be more interssting in my opinion...killing Sniper-Hill campers would be fun with that mechanic !

Introducing a simple "Perk" system would be interesting. I can Image some kind of "coocking" for making longlasting food/drink or "guncrafting" where ya can loot special items in order to build uniques like a silenced sniper or a powerfull melee weapon for example. But to be honest i dont think that is or will become possible xD
