I doubt this is the last of it. There are some pretty big egos over at the ******* forums. These types revel in the attention, be that from cheating in the game or the fuss it causes outside of it. Maybe they didnt get enough hugs from their mum? (or too many from their dad) We should pay them no attention at all, not enter into any correspondence and let battle eye and its support team just silently eliminate them. Kudos to rocket, Ive been following the events over the last 48, reading post here and there and I could not have dealt with these 4chan /b/ trolling skript kiddie fuckwits with out going... He never even resorted to capslock* I sincerely hope that the battle eye support team enrolls on these cheat sites, builds up a repertoire, posts and infiltrates them (these places only issue haxs to those with positive rep or 100 post etc.) and gives them the regular prison style dry bumming they deserve. *may not be true, point there only for emphasis

Close it anyway. Nuke it from orbit. Its waste of time, resources and effort and does nothing more than act as a magnet to trolls and baiters. It will never have a conclusion. Time, attention and energy be better spent elsewhere.

Torch, Knife, Can of pop and tin of food. No back pack, the decision to drop torch n favor of hand gun should be player choice, might find a whinney first anyway... Random spawn in ANY town. EDIT: Hardcore would be knife, matches, torch and new ability to drink direct from pump or lake.

Hopefully a updated version will be up and running today. This should fix the ICS issues and use a new mapping format.

I use a program on android called Overlook Whiz It allow you to create a widget that checks your server and a frequency of your choosing. I have it set up for my webserver, homeserver and exchange server. It will check any tcp port so how you could tie this in with a dayz service/server will take some experimenting. Overlook Fing might work too, it has a TCP connection tester. Both are great apps wether you use them for DayZ or not! Hope this helps!

If your not playing dayz and only ArmaOA how about you uninstall the BETA patch and move on....

YES start with torch, knife & matches. NOTHING else. These are the only things you'd be likely have in your pocket. Everything else to be scavenged. Allow wildlife kills with knife. 100% random town spawn (not just coast)
