Hello Forum! Everytime I relog I respawn as a new character. I've lost my gear 3 times in a row now. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hello Forum! I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my computer. However, when I'm trying to change something in the Video options in Dayz, it crashes to desktop with the following Error: Dayz Error: Device reset failed, error 8876086c Anyone know what's causing this issue?

Yeah, I tried extraacting the SweetFX in the Dayz folder. I'll try removing it. Edit: Thanks, that worked. I totally forgot I had that SweetFX. So how can I get that to work? Cause it looks pretty sweet.

I got that too, but my character was creaming in pain without it showing I was sick/infected. So I cleaned my wounds with alcohol, and i suddenly became "sick" ( yellow ) - But after a while with keeping my character not hungry/thirsty, I got that green notification that my wounds were cleaned and it wore off.

Right now I feel like the majority of the players are heading for balota. Me and some friends was playing on a full server for several hours running from Komarovo - > Zelenogorsk - > Green Mountain - > Pustoshka - > Stary Sobor - > NWA Gorka etc etc. without encountering any other players. :/

I didn't need to, but I felt like it. I was just wondering whether or not he had any plans for this yet. But as some people mention, transportation and being able to store your gear in camps will eventually draw more players north. Edit: And maybe just nuke Balota. Too much military loot there and server hoppers.

After the latest patch, alot of corpses just dissapear after me killing someone. Does this happen to anyone else?

I don't get that pissed when someone KOSing me and loot me as I do when someone KOSing me and don't even bother checking my gear. Give player killing some kind of penalty. Like bandit skins they had in the mod. And hero skins for people who helps out other players. There are plenty of ideas out there to lower the KOSing rate.

Happened to me once. It wasn't Stary though, but somewhere else. I just relogged and spawned south again. Weird...

You need some alcohol. Your wound is infected. Also eat/drink healthy.

Me and my pal was just chilling in balota for some hours helping out random players with food/water/ammo. We both were armed with M4s. 1 out of 20 players tried to kill me with a wrench. He tasted my bullets.

I got sick too. It wears off if you just eath and drink healthy. 30 minutes and it was gone for me. Just check your inventory that the "sick" icon doesn't turn red. Then you might want to get some antibiotics or similar.

I'm trying to figure out which items are useful or useless as of now, in the Alpha stage. Here's a list of items. Help me figure out whether they're useful or not. And for what use they are. Feel free too suggest items I can edit to the list. Morphine Auto-Injector Supposedly the Morphine auto-injector is used to fix broken bones. But I have not confirmed this myself yet. Have anyone confirmed this? Injection-Vial - ? IV Starter Kit 1. Put IV Kit on your hands. 2. Drag Saline Bag Over IV Kit (IV Kit should be on your hands) 3. Click on the option "Create" after dragging the saline bag over the iv kit. 4. It should of created a saline bag IV, if it didn't you must of done it wrong, after creating the Saline Bag IV equip it and use it on a unconscious player. Charcaol Tabs Charcoal tablets helps you vomit if you're sick or if you ate/drank too much. You'll get a notification if your character has to vomit. "I am close to vometing" - "I think I'm going to vomit" - "I'm going to vomit" Tetracycline Antibiotics It can cure diseases. Matchbox - ? Duct Tape Can be used to bind other players hands. Alcohol Tincture Can help you if you get hit by a zombie and get an infection. Vitamins Vitamins has a chance to cure infection/disease. Firewood - ? Defibriliator - ? Wooden Stick - ? Shovel - ? Pliers - ? Wrench Used as a melee weapon. Other than that, its useless right now.

So, will we lose our gear on all the small patches in the future?
