Did you tinker with the FoV? ( Field of View ) Edit: A friend of mine mistook Field of View with View Distance, and he put Field of View on max, which makes your screen look like what you described.

Hunger and Thirst in Standalone by alayton at 9:11am DayZ standalone introduces much more complicated hunger and thirst mechanics compared to the mod. Instead of your hunger and thirst being satisfied as soon as you eat or drink anything, each type of food and drink restores varying amounts of energy and can add or remove water. Additionally, your stomach can only hold a limited amount of food and water. ExamplesWhen you eat a box of cereal, it restores around 1000 energy, and drains 250 water. Eating sardines only restores 333 energy, but adds close to 100 water. Drinking a can of soda restores a bit less than 150 energy and adds over 300 water, while drinking from a canteen doesn't give any energy, but adds 1000 water. EffectsWhen you have less than 100 energy, you start losing health and blood. However, when you have a ton of energy and plenty of water (3500 and 3000 respectively), you start regenerating blood. Greetings forum! I'm currently unconscious, and I've been for 35 minutes. I thought there was a max limit of 30 minutes. However, I got disconnected from the server I was playing on while being unconscious. Does that reset the timer? I know I can just respawn, but you can't respawn from unconsciousness in real life!

Hello forum. So if I want two accounts for Arma II Dayz on my computer, do I have to redownload the whole game or is there a way I can just purchase the game digitally without downloading the game and get a CD-key, and somehow swap between two accounts? And is it allowed to have two accounts playing on the same server? I purchased my other copy via Steam.

Ah, I get it. I made a new Steam account and managed to purchase the game without redownloading the game. Obviously, as you're saying steam autodetects installed games, Now I just need to figure out how to swap between the accounts by starting Via Six Laincher. When I'm on my current steam account and try to purchase another copy, it says I can't cause I already own the game.

So, how do I do it? Log in onto my current steam or make a new steam account? Do I need to redownload the game or can I use the files I'm currently using? This is so confusing :( Edit: Zodiac, how do i only purchase the CD key?

I use the water bottle very infrequently, due to the fact that there's so much Cola and Pepsi in Chernarus. Maybe i'd use the water bottle if it was possible to refill it when it rained. Or refill it Bear Grylls style...

Hello Forum! I just recently purchased Arma II and downloaded Dayz, because everyone is telling me it's so awesome. I've been playing just a couple of hours now, and I love the concept of the game, but the engine is utterly useless. The game is lagging on my Laptop when I'm in big cities. My laptop can run all other high end games perfectly with decent FPS. Which is why I'm looking for some tweaks and tricks to increase the performance of the game. I've turned everything down in the in-game option menu, but I'm still lagging when I'm in the big cities.
